Everything one needs to know about this case has been covered by Gamers Nexus, so I recommend watching their testing if you haven't already. What I would like to add is how beautiful this case looks in person. I bought it because it is the best case on the market, in regards to air cooling, but I was underwhelmed by its looks when I saw it in photos in videos. In person, however, I felt completely different; this case is beautiful and I could not be happier. Cable management is simple and straight-forward, but if you're mounting several SATA drives, it is going to be very tight. I have 2 HDDs and 2 SSDs and the bundle of cables creates pressure against the side panel. Fortunately, a screw can be used to secure the side panel in place so that it doesn't just pop off. I had a Cooler Master HAF 922 for many years before finally replacing it with the Torrent, and I expect the Torrent is going to be my case for many, many years to come. At some point, there really aren't improvements and people just have to choose what they like. One of the only practical reasons a person might feel pressured to upgrade from this is when the USB ports become outdated tech, but even then it's not as if they're not going to be good enough. ... show more

I would first like to note that while this is advertised as a mid-tower, it is not. This is very much a full-tower. Cooling is excellent; the fans included are nice quality too. At idle they're barely audible and at load the woosh sound they produce is low and pleasing instead of annoying. Easy to work in on mobo side. The cable management side however is non parallel in experience. There is a plethora of cable ties and Velcro straps, and hole placement is good, but the space between the back and the glass is not much. So unless you have pretty well done cable management the back glass won't close properly and you'll either be forced to use a screw to hold it closed (which seems to stress the glass in a worrisome way), or re-cable manager until it does close. Aside from that it's built very well and when all completed looks amazing. If you don't mind the size and (sometimes very terrible) pricing, it's a lovely case ... show more

I love this case. I thought this was one of the best looking cases I’ve ever seen when it launched. It’s easy to build in and includes everything you need. The 2 large front fans and the 3 lower fans come pre installed. It also comes with a fan hub. For me it is a perfect size. All my components fill the case with not a lot of dead space and not very cramped. My only two complaints are: I’d love a little more space between the frame and the rear side panel. Trying to wire manage to make sure the back panel fits was tricky. Also the included fans have two wires each (power and rgb). You have to daisy chain the rgb cables which creates messier wire management. I wish they were like the Lian Li fans that just click together with no extra wires. Overall a well built beautiful case that I plan to use for many future builds ... show more

I recently upgraded from the NZXT Phantom 410. That case was great as well, but after so many years I wanted a new one. The inside is really spacious and has more than enough room too accommodate my new 4090. It has a great airflow so my cpu always stays at a low temp and fam noise is barely audible. This was the perfect case for my new build. With the huge PWM fans, it's very quiet. It's extremely wide, so it can fit a huge CPU heatsink and oversized video cards with their crazy power connectors. I'm not the biggest fan of the top-mounted PSU, but it did allow for a lot of hidden tucking of extra cable length in the top compartment. There are only 2 Type A USB on the front. The GPU support was a little bit of a pain to install, but it's great (way better than a stand support or the motherboard standoff support included with video cards). ... show more

My first impression was the white color makes all the interior hardware, motherboard and CPU cooler really stand out. The case is very big and there is so much room inside to work installing my stuff. The case is fairly heavy due to its strong metal construction and design but the top and front panels are plastic as well at the four feet it sits on so care will be needed in moving it around or pulling off the panels for maintenance. The only downside is there is no provision for a DVD drive so installing software would involve an external drive plugged into a USB port. This case has an internal wiring system that seems to incorporate some systems more modern then my Windows 7 unit that I am planning to install and I had to send a request to tech support to explain a few of the odd plugs that I can't figure out. I would give it 5 stars if there was an internal SATA DVD. ... show more

    • Amazing Overall Case Quality and Customer Support!

I cannot recommend this case and Fractal Design enough! The overall build quality, look and feel of this case is fantastic! With it also including great cable management space and capabilities with tie-downs for wires all over the back of the case in the locations you most need them! Additionally, Fractal also offers a 2-year warranty on their cases which is another great bonus, as when I received my case I noticed one of the front panel connector wires had been crushed on delivery. Seeing this I contacted Fractals customer support in which they reviewed the damage and then shipped out a new front panel io right away with it arriving extremely quickly! Surpassing my expectations with their extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive customer support!! Because of all this, Fractal Design, and this Torrent Case are ones that I would most definitely Highly Recommend!! ... show more
