Product is made of a light metal. I crashed my FPV into a tree branch, and then it hit the ground. When I inspected my drone I noticed the top bar was scratched and bent. I’m thankful for it because I can only imagine the damage that would have happened to my drone without it. Product comes with four 1.5mm allen wrench screws. Stock screws work just as well, but the four screws that come with it have what looks like locktite on them. UPDATE - crashed my drone again and broke the replacement camera guard I bought.     • Saved my bacon! A few times.
This simple thing should have been a factory installed item on the FPV drone by DJI. It's saved my gimbal from being destroyed on numerous occasions. Cameras and gimbals are not cheap. Especially in this administration. My absolute only qualm is that I didn't get the anodized red one.

Sturdy, and provides a handy location to easily grab the drone. Only complaint is that the pre-installed screws holding the hoops together are not thread-locked, and one came out on the first flight. I should have checked, and so replacing it is on me, but I do think it should have come with the pre-installed screws locktited. ... show more
