For context, I purchased this product to be used almost entirely indoors for photographs at various heights with my Galaxy S21. For that purpose, I am extremely happy with it. You can see it comes in a slim, white box, and inside, it is wrapped in a filmy white bag to protect from scratches. Inside, it comes with the tripod in its fully compact state, a D-ring and strap (to hook onto a neck ring on the tripod), the remote control (which clicks into the body of the tripod), and an instruction booklet in multiple languages. On the tripod itself, there is a sticker with 2 pictographs (it rolls around the surface, so there are separate pictures for each image). Those images pantomime how to open the tripod. They're not super clear, but it's hard to get perfect information in 2 little drawings. I figured it out after a minute or two. The tripod telescopes pretty high as you can see against my wall, and it also goes pretty short as you can see in my light box. The apparatus for holding the phone is a spring-loaded, double movement clamp. By double movement I mean that both the upper and lower edges of the clamp can move to clamp on a fairly good-sized phone. I have a Galaxy S21, which is a nice size, and it just holds it. If the phone was a quarter inch wider, it would not. The apparatus that holds the phone pivots and moves well yet snugly so it stays where you put it. It doesn't pivot downward as much as I'd like. If you have the tripod on the table, as an example, and you want to photograph something on the surface of the table in front of the tripod, then be prepared to back it up and zoom in. It won't angle downward enough to get a nice close shot without the backing up process. It may be my expectations, but when you're using a big but obviously limited surface to shoot pictures, you hope to be able to get those closer downward shots. I've learned to pull it back, and if I run out of surface, I just hold it. It's definitely light enough to hold long enough to take many steady pictures. My rating is 5 stars because it's exactly as advertised and functions exactly as it should, aside from my personal opinion that it should angle further forward. But I give it 4 stars for the very flimsy-feeling remote control that loses connection if you don't use it for a little while, and you have to double click it if you don't use it for more than a minute or so (hardly catastrophic, I know, just annoying). I also gave it 4 stars for versatility and sturdiness because I think it's really an inside-only product. It's absolutely solid enough to use anywhere indoors on any flat surface, even typical carpet. However, I'm not sure I think it's hefty enough or big enough to use where a gust of wind might come, or on uneven ground, or something like that. If there's no wind and it's on the sidewalk would it work? Oh yes. Definitely. But I personally think it would need a wider base and more weight to be stable in all conditions. The ease of use is very good, the remote paired super easily (even if it won't stay paired), the instructions are well written, the workmanship appears good and nothing feels like it's going to break or wear anytime soon except the remote, and it works very well. Oh, one final point: the phone clamp is no joke. It really holds. I find that an awesome feature, but most cell phones have screen-lock buttons on the side of the phone... right where the clamp goes. I recommend that you position your phone in the clamp with the button outside of the parts that touch the phone. It didn't turn my screen off immediately, but as soon as I torqued the tension a smidge by moving the head around, it shut my screen right off. Took me twice before I realized it was the clamp doing it and not some phone gremlin interfering with my shoot. It's a super easy fix, so not a problem, it's just something to be aware of. Highly recommended for indoor use.

Went on a group trip, took this stand. It works perfectly. Compact and lightweight. Easy to hang on my backpack. The remote control is a great addition. Can use the remote, which easily connect to my iPhone, or the camera app on my phone. Highly recommend.

I bought this tripod on may 30th,2023. After reading the reviews, I thought this tripod would be the perfect one for me. Unfortunately, I only used it a few times during my trip ( first time using it) and the mount part has already become loosen. What’s worse is that the mount holder part came right off. I was very disappointed that it occurred. So I immediately contacted the seller regarding the situation. The seller helped me resolve the issue by providing a replacement to me. I’m glad that I received a replacement and hopefully it will last. I took one star off because the mount holder did break before, however I would give 5 star for the customer service experience I received from the seller. They promptly replied back to me and provided me with a solution.

This tripod is exceeded my expectations. The stand is sturdy and is not some cheap material. If you were to extend the entire rod, the whole tripod is really tall but the rod isn't super sturdy so it is better to keep at a reasonable height. The blue-tooth is easy to connect and is good if you want to take photos without having to rush for the timer. The clip that holds your phone is also very firm so you don't need to worry about it slipping. Overall, material is good quality and perfect for photo setup and recording.
