I use my planer to flatten plywood subfloor to prep for hardwoods. These were tempting for the price since hitting screw and nail heads just bust the blades when flattening. But they are super dull compared to the name brand double packs I usually buy. They're so dull they bog the tool down when trying to use it. I had to adjust to a very shallow cut and even then it would barely remove the lettering on the subfloor after multiple passes. I would skip these and buy something else. Worked like the old ones before trying to shave down a screw head. Hit more than I'll use in my lifetime if I can harness the stupid guy that resides in my head. Used to true up some knotty cedar planks that were chainsawed into sections and si far so good. Now as a preface, I don't propose particular points pertaining to potential problems pointed out possibly pinpointing perfectly produced product unless the potential perplexities or physical prowess points people properly .
