The media could not be loaded. This CNC machine is a beast! Prior to this machine I had a Foxalien belt driven Masuter 3S which is an amazing machine for the value. This XE-Ultra Core machine is even more amazing. This machine is super solid and powerful. The ball screws really make a huge difference over the belt drives of my other machine. Assembly took me approximately 45 minutes and was relatively easy. Please note that this machine does not come with a spoil board. Depending on how you look at this, this is either a blessing or a curse. For me it is a blessing - allowing for cuts to be made in thicker pieces. A spindle is also not included, so you must supply you own router or spindle. I personally have paired the Foxalien 1.5Kw VFD spindle with my machine and it works perfectly. Also, measure your space as this machine is not small, it is deeper and wider than my Masuter 3S. My only complaint about CNC is the back for the control housing. The wording of where the cables hookup is to the right of the connections which seems backwards to me and caused me to initially hook the cables up incorrectly. The online forum also has entries from other people experiencing the same issue. It really is not a big deal, just be aware and pay attention to the included instructions as they are VERY clear as to how to make the connections (yeah, I did not pay close attention). Overall, I am super thrilled with this CNC. If I had to do it all over again - I would prefer to get the larger version but space in my shop is limited and do have my other CNC that will allow me to do larger pieces if needed. ... show more
