    • Y axis moving opposite direction issues but Fox Alien Support has sent a replacement pronto
Nicely built but the first one I bought worked for a few days then the Y axis started to move in opposite directions, one goes one way and the other move the opposite direction. They Y axis is supposed to move in the same direction Y+ Y+. After reading about othe user users having the same issue with the motor, Defective, Returned it. Bought another one. Worked correctly for a few days and then it started to act up, same issue. Update: Fox Alien has been helping to resolve the issue by sending a Replacement Motor. I still think the unit is well made, just have some motor driver issues maybe a manufacturing batch that's bad, or shipping damage. Update 2: It's been 2 weeks since I got the replacement motor. Replacement Motor was shipped timely in 5 days. Everything is still working good. Like to thank the Vendor for expediting the shipping of the replacement motor in a timely matter. ... show more

Bought this XE Pro to upgrade from my 4040 XE. This machine is a beast compared to the 4040 XE! It is solid and heavy! It takes longer than 30 minutes to set this up but simple and easy just following the pics. After set up, I checked for level and plumb and everything was spot on! I made a throw away spoil board to go on top of the machine bed and ran a 25mm surfacing bit and the cut was perfectly level! I can also tell you that after having the 4040 XE for almost 2 years that Fox Alien's customer support is fantastically awesome! You email them and their back at you the next day! The listing says 220v power. There is a switch on the bottom of the control box that allows you to select 220 or 110. Great little machine!! ... show more

This is my 1st CNC machine and I am hooked. Everything seems to made of quality materials and the machine seems very sturdy. No issues so far. The spindle leaves some th king to be desired but that seems to be the standard across all machines. Go with a router or a 1.5kw spindle. The 400W is enough power but projects will take longer.
