I purchased the FoxAlien Masuter 3 as a beginner CNC Router. I have laser engravers and thought I would branch out to a CNC router. When I received my router I put it together but then I didn't get around to learning to use it right away. When I turned it on it had a squeaking noise. I contacted the company and they told me some suggestions on how to fix it. Turns out it was a knob was adjusted too tight.i loosened it up and the squeak went away. The company has been great to work with. They answer my messages right away. As for my machine, I haven't used it yet but it is very well made and durable. It was very easy to put together with simple to understand instructions. The machine is the perfect size for a beginner CNC Router. I can't wait to see what I can turn out with it.

This product is horrible. If the machine runs for more then a few hours it malfunction and destroys whatever it is cutting. After this issue started I have found many forms and reddits with people having the same issue saying the machine is not probably grounded. I am currently dealing with their customer service directly which is not going well and so far the best they can tell me is that I have to wire a grounding system for it myself which I will assume void my warranty. These malfunction have costed me money in material as well. Do not buy this product!

First off let me start by saying my first FoxAlien machine was the Masuter Pro. Which is a great machine. But the Masuter 3 is great. They have taken everything that we have been talking about and doing for upgrades and put it in this Masuter 3. Love this machine, it’s well build. Now has guards to protect the belts from saw dust and anything else, the added steel wheel guides make it move smoother and perform better. The main controls are now away from the machine and not in your way when loading a bigger piece on to your cnc. The assembly of this machine was very quick and easy. The instructions are great and easy for any one to figure out. I’d recommend this to anyone looking to get into the CNC world. 10/10

Purchased the Masuter 3 with the 20 W laser a couple months ago. Thus far I've built 13 cribbage boards without a hitch! That's 5000+ holes, carved lines, and personalized etching on each! As this was my first CNC project, I had questions. FoxAlien and I had multiple email exchanges in which they answered my questions promptly and accurately. Can't say enough about the very positive exchanges with the manufacturer. The only reason this is a 4 star and not a 5: The transition from carve to laser is a bit of a chore. Totally doable but it definitely forces you into doing projects like mine in very staged approaches. All in all, love the Masuter 3, the laser kit works well and allows you to have both in a smaller footprint for way less capital than having two machines! Now hopefully it holds up over time!

Buenas, llevo mas de un mes usando la cnc y tengo los siguientes comentarios: 1. Tuve un problema con los cortes que se atascaban y perdían coordenadas en el eje Y, me cambiaron la placa base y seguía funcionando mal. La solución a esto fue aflojar los rieles del eje Y los cuales estaban muy apretados y no permitían un desplazamiento correcto. 2. Las velocidades para el nema 17 que son con los que viene la maquina son. Velocidad de 800 y velocidad de profundidad 400, avance de 1,5 mm de profundidad. 3. Cuando cortaba un circulo en ocasiones no era uniforme y quedaba un poco torcido, esto sucedía porque la viruta o polvo que se esparcía hacia los rieles, hacían que saltara un poco y perdía la coordenada. Después de tantos conflictos, definitivamente aprendí bastante sobre el manejo de estos tipos de maquinas cnc, actualmente me funciona muy bien y aconsejo adaptar o comprar el adaptador de succión de polvo.

This machine is great. Works perfect with Easel(free version) software however going to try VCarve, appears to be more user friendly only issue I had was one of the pins on one of the limit switch connections pushed out when I plugged it in just needed to push it back in with needle nose pliers. Have already ordered multiple accessories including the extension kit. I do use a trim router in place of the 60w spindle this comes with.

So many time it’s failing and damaging the project It keep missing steps Unless I really slow it down, but then it take me 6 hours to finish a little job If I up the speed little bit It’s getting stuck and loosing it’s work location and start cutting where it shouldn’t I really gave it a shot!!! Trying for a few days Asked for help in all the Facebook groups And still the machine getting stuck all the time getting frustrated instead of enjoying my new hobby. I’ve returned the machine and saving for something better.

I am a current owner of the Masuter Pro and there were a few features that could have been improved on. FoxAlien did it with this one! The machine is very well built and thought out. Dust guards for the Y-Axis rails were a must and they are built into this unit. They keep sawdust and small wood chips from interfering with the belt drive system. The upgraded steel wheels provide a much smoother operation. FoxAlien definitely listened to the users like myself and delivered. I would highly recommend this CNC for anyone looking to get started.
