  • Large-XL feels like a medium
Size: Large-X-Large
Very good quality, the only issue is for me I needed XL but they are too small feels more like a Medium. The straps are kind of short.

  • Good quality
Size: Small-Medium
Good quality. My husband was teaching me how to ride, I figured I better gear up with protection. Fits pretty well over my pants.

  • Very comfortable and easy to wear
Size: Small-Medium
They are easy to put on, do not irritate my calves and provide enough protection for my intermediate skill level of mountain bike riding. Several of my male friends, with advanced skills, have also purchased this style and approve.

  • Disappointing design & build
Size: Large-X-Large
I've been using earlier versions of these for years. I much prefer them over sleeve-like knee pads because they can go on & off without removing shoes, and they leave knees free to flex on a mountain bike. These (2025 pair) are different in that their straps must be woven through slots before being connected via Velcro. Older models had Velcro/elastic straps with plastic end pieces that hooked on, making putting the pads on and taking them off faster and easier. Their downside was the elastic was weak, and you had to sew a second layer of elastic onto the straps after a few wearings. With this new design, it also helps if you have a sewing machine to improve on it. The Velcro patches aren't sewn flat on their edges, so they catch going in & out of the plastic slots, adding time and hassle to putting them on and taking them off. Sewing the Velcro edges down with a zig-zag stitch fixes that. And like the older design, the elastic is weak -- adding another layer of elastic to the straps helps. UPDATE: Having used them a number of times now, I'll add that this 2025 version slides down your shins as you ride, and tends to rotate off your knee, more than the previous model, enough that I would not recommend these even with the elastic & Velcro fixes. I imagine another manufacturer will soon overtake Fox, as Fox's designs and quality are getting worse as they evolve. Pros of the new model: - lighter weight - the elastic is wider/better than the old model's. Cons of the new model: - might not protect as well, as they have less material (they're a little lighter). - on/off takes more time & work. Not a big deal, but I do prefer the old clip on & off. - needs additional elastic, and the Velcro edges sewn down to make putting them on and taking them off tolerable. - they slide down and rotate as you ride, which gets annoying and compromises the protection they would otherwise provide. ... show more

  • Too small for adult

I'm 5'9 and these were too small for me and wouldn't stay in place:
