It’s too early to know results because I applied this to my Japanese Maple & hydrangeas just 3 weeks ago. The reason I purchased this brand and am giving it 5 stars is because as I was researching products this one kept showing up as the first choice on several web sites. Included clear instructions for application. Note that it is powdery, not little pellets, so you need to get close to the soil before you release it because otherwise the wind will blow it away from where you want it. I wish I had taken before and after pictures of my Japanese Maple trees that were in great distress. Loss of leaves and a lot of dead branches, small and medium. I have applied this fertilizer three times, fall, spring and summer and the leaf coverage has returned to nearly normal on one tree and the second Japanese Maple has come back but still is recovering. I have no idea why they lost so much of their canopy and branches but this fertilizer has certainly made a difference. I will try to add photos to my review. The fertilizer is very powdery so you absolutely need to dig the fertilizer into the soil and water in well. I watered in the fertilizer over several days.
