I use this stuff for treating my new plants to a lot of love prior to planting. I use it for both houseplants and for garden plants before I put them in the garden. Bare root plants definitely benefit from soaking overnight in a solution of this. Love it!

Doing a large hillside landscape and we’ve incorporated 20 odd cotoneasters into the design to combat erosion. They do not transplant well and this late into the growing season I was hesitant to use the more powerful fertilizers I had on hand and picked up this stuff due to the positive reviews. I had high expectations because this stuff is pretty darn expensive but I was prepared to be disappointed as I’ve never used this companies products before. Well it delivered. 3ish days out from applying the fertilizer through drip lines onto the entire planting area the cotoneasters stopped yellowing and started putting out new growth. 3 dogwood bushes that had required fungicide regularly since planting suddenly could resist anthracnose without any help. I’d still look to this product to be especially strong in helping decline in slower growing evergreen plants but the assistance with the dogwoods was an unexpected benefit. I’m sold. Wish it wasn’t 50$ because I’m about to need more but the value is there. I’ll be trying more of Fox Farms products in the future. ... show more

Some of our new trees really were struggling through the drought this summer and I didn't want our expensive investment to die. The nursery recommended this product, and we mixed and applied about 5 gallons twice a week, and now that we're going into fall the trees are coming back and looking very healthy. I'm not sure why the star rating system is asking about flavor. The smell was a little bit funky but it honestly just smelled like something earthy and nutritious for the soil.
