⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended Fertilizer for All Plants! FoxFarm Big Bloom Plant Food is an absolute game-changer for any gardener, whether you're growing flowers, fruits, vegetables, or indoor houseplants. This liquid fertilizer concentrate is one of the most versatile and reliable products I've ever used in my garden and indoor grow setups. The NPK ratio of 0.01-0.03-0.7 might seem subtle, but don't let that fool you—it packs a punch with its natural goodness, including bat guano and earthworm castings. Here’s why this product deserves every one of its five stars: Ease of Use: The recommended dosage is incredibly straightforward. FoxFarm provides clear instructions on the label, suggesting a range of applications depending on the plant's growth stage. For new users, I recommend starting with the lower end of the dosage (e.g., 2-3 tablespoons per gallon of water) and gradually adjusting based on how your plants respond. It’s always better to underfeed and step up rather than overdo it, as this product is a concentrate. Versatility: What truly sets Big Bloom apart is its ability to work on any plant, in any setting. Whether you're growing luscious tomatoes in your garden, delicate herbs in your kitchen, or vibrant houseplants in pots, this fertilizer delivers consistent results. I personally use it for everything from leafy greens and vegetables to ornamental flowers and cannabis plants, and I’ve never been disappointed. Performance: Big Bloom is a low-NPK fertilizer, which makes it perfect for encouraging root development, flower production, and overall plant health without risking nutrient burn. It’s especially useful during the flowering or fruiting stages when plants need that extra boost to produce blooms and fruits. The natural ingredients, such as bat guano and earthworm castings, enrich the soil and help nurture beneficial microorganisms, leading to healthier and more robust plants. Tips & Tricks for New Users: Dilution is Key: Always dilute the product according to the instructions. For seedlings or delicate plants, use half the recommended strength to avoid overwhelming them. Shake Well Before Use: The natural ingredients can settle at the bottom of the bottle, so give it a good shake to ensure an even distribution of nutrients. Combine with Other FoxFarm Products: If you're looking for a complete nutrient program, pair Big Bloom with FoxFarm Grow Big and Tiger Bloom. Big Bloom can be used alongside these products without overloading your plants. Use as a Foliar Spray: For a quick nutrient boost, mix Big Bloom at a lower concentration and use it as a foliar spray. This method is particularly effective for houseplants and seedlings. Consistent Feeding Schedule: Incorporate Big Bloom into your regular feeding schedule every 7-10 days for optimal results. Don’t Skip the Flush: If you’re growing edible plants or cannabis, flushing with plain water in the final stages of growth ensures no buildup in the soil and better-tasting produce. MY Final Thoughts: FoxFarm Big Bloom is a staple in my gardening arsenal. Its natural ingredients and user-friendly application make it ideal for gardeners of all skill levels. I’ve used it consistently for years on everything from marigolds to cilantro and even companion plants like chamomile. My plants are thriving, and the results speak for themselves—vibrant blooms, lush growth, and healthy, productive gardens. If you're looking for an all-purpose fertilizer that works on every plant and won't break the bank, this is it. Whether you’re a seasoned grower or a beginner, FoxFarm Big Bloom is a must-have for your gardening toolkit. Highly recommended! 🌱 ... show more

  • A trusted plant fertilizer that has been around for years
Size: Pint
Fox farms has been around for as long as I can remember, I use this as a little booster on my house plants it’s a great way to add some additional nutrients and fertilization and give them that boost that they need. You don’t need much but my indoor plants love it. I use this about once every other week with a minimum of once a month. A lot of my plants are doubling in size. They are much healthier. There is no smell. The growth rate of my plants is fantastic. I have even added this occasionally to a couple of my outdoor herbs when they seem to be struggling and over the next couple of days after the fertilization, the plants picked up tremendously. ... show more

  • Very potent and easy to use
Size: 1-Quart
I've been using the FoxFarm trio Grow Big/Big Bloom/Tiger Bloom for years for backyard gardening. When used correctly (diluted and applied with correct frequency), this fertilizer produces potent results within hours, in my case - overnight. Not so much with Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom for flowers or fruit, but more with Grow Big for lettuce and other greens. The instructions are clear and right on the bottle without cumbersome superfine print labels of any kind. When I first started gardening, I suffered very poor harvests due to incorrect understanding of soil fertility, fertilizing and specifically using liquid fertilizers. So I believe there are several things that might be useful to those looking into liquid fertilizers, and getting the most out of them. Several things to know: - Liquid fertilizers are almost always concentrates and deliver a one-time nutrient feed. Therefore, they must be applied several times a week or once weekly to keep up the good results. Do not expect this bottle to last a season if you have a decent size garden! :) - Your results may vary based on nutritional quality of your soil. If your soil is poor quality and has not been amended with compost/manure, then you would expect to see quite dramatic results in growth/bloom/fruiting. If, on the other hand, your soil is rich, then you might be nutrient burning your plants, which may or may not show within a day. With the exception of tomatoes, squash family and potatoes to name a few, most plants would use up the available nutrients in a rich soil within the first 2 months of growth, and will need to be fertilized regularly from there on. So I recommend testing your soil regularly for N,P,K or use the general 2 months rule to start supplementing your plants. - Regular use of liquid fertilizers, this one especially, leaves salts in the soil that affect plant's nutrient uptake and soil composition. Depending on what plant you are growing, and whether your outdoor garden gets enough rain in winter, you may need to manually flush (repeatedly drench the soil with water) your soil to get rid of those salts. I killed my indoor prayer plant by not knowing this. - Always water with plain water -after- you fertilize with liquid diluted fertilizers, because it ensures that the nutrients you trying to deliver will reach the roots of the plant. Overall, I highly recommend using FoxFarm liquid fertilizers and don't mind that they are not organic because of great results I've had with them opposed to several other prominent brands. ... show more

  • Plant food with good reputation
Size: Pint
Since it is plant food and I just received it, it is too soon to comment on the quality of the product. However the order was received on time and the packaging was above average.

  • Good, but a Little Fussy to Mix
Size: 1-Quart
I've had good results with this organic liquid plant food to start my outdoor flower gardening season here in Minnesota. When mixing by hand for watering can use, I have a gallon jug with a cap so I can shake it well before dispensing; I also shake the bottle itself well before mixing. This is the only downside to this formula - shortly after combining it with the prescribed amount of water, the concentrate settles at the bottom of the jug and has to be shaken every few minutes if you want to keep it suspended properly. Otherwise, it's very useful to cover a larger area when used in a hose-end sprayer that automatically mixes the solution with water when you set the proportion per gallon on the dial (I use a model by Ortho). I'm glad to keep it on hand for that, since the powdered fertilizers aren't designed to work in these sprayers. ... show more

  • Instant results— plants thriving
Size: 1-Quart
This plant food works absolutely amazing! I noticed a difference in my plants in just a couple of days—brighter leaves, stronger stems, and overall healthier growth. Even my picky plants that never seem happy started thriving once I added this to my routine. It’s easy to use, mixes well, and doesn’t have a strong or unpleasant smell like some other fertilizers. I love that it gives quick results without burning the plants or causing any issues. If you want something that truly brings your plants back to life and helps them grow fuller and greener, this plant food is definitely worth it. I’m impressed and will keep buying it! ... show more

  • VERY impressed with this for getting my mandevilla to bloom VERY impressed with this for getting my mandevilla to bloom
Size: Pint
I’m new to plants. I got this awesome potted mandevilla with a tropical leaf plant from the hardware garden center year and loved it, bloomed all summer with no effort but water and deadheading that neighbor showed me. This year I got the same one, except it hasn’t bloomed since I picked up in May with the blooms she had. I added some eco nitrogen fertilizer because last year I learned and saw how many of my plants loved nitrogen… but alas I did not know it was just gonna make her grow long and green…. Like my grass and greens that loved it haha! Anyway. After looking up online how to make it bloom (and that I made her not bloom with the nitrogen lol), I deduced she needed phosphorus since she has plenty of sun and watered as directed. I got this product on Wednesday. I chose this one because I loved the ingredient list (yes for bug casings!) - I’m very into sustainability and I only use organic and natural gardening products along with compost. I watered the mandevillas with the directions in the evening. It is Saturday morning and I’m already seeing little blooms instead of new baby leaves forming finally!!! Literally in 48 hours she was stimulated enough to grow them overnight. I also picked up a red climbing mandevilla last weekend from the clearance section. Then bottom stilled looked green and healthy, the top was veryyy sad, but I think it was only half off cuz the plastic display pot was cracked judging by the full price ones. Figured it was worth a shot for a cheap price. She had a few flowers, and I added another pole to help it climb since the top was the very sad part. I put this on it also on Wednesday night and holy cow!! It’s like I got a very healthy plant from the store, and has popped out TONS of tiny little flowers to bloom since yesterday! I also added her to these stupid daisies in the ground that wilted out pretty fast and has only put out tiny blooms, and I noticed I have a flower blooming and little round pods trying to form, but not as drastically as the photos of the mandevilla I posted here. ... show more
