I wanted a sturdy tree for my 20lb Siberian. This works! It is heavy, stable, and nice looking. Plenty of space on each shelf for a big cat to enjoy. I constructed this monster by myself. It wasn’t difficult. I had no issues. Each piece is heavy so when finished, it is not the easiest to move. It is also tall. The pads are soft, connected with Velcro so cleaning is not an issue. I did not use them but straps are included to help stabilize this tower. Good value!

I am very pleased with the FourFurPets 72.4" Cat Tree. My two cats instantly adapted to their new play zone. The previous cat tree that I owned was wobbly and eventually broke apart piece by piece. The thing I disliked about it the most was that it was big and bulky and a general eye sore to look at. This tree takes up much less space and is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. My cats love it. It took two + hours for me to put it together because it has many parts and required a lot of screwing but the instructions were excellent and things moved along smoothly. I chose to not use the white condo enclosure at the bottom because my cats never went in the condos on their previous tree. I also thought the tree looked better not seeing the stark white condo at the bottom. This is definitely a 5 star purchase. It is sturdy, strong, and seemingly very durable.

This is my second cat tree from FourFurPets. The first one (a smaller one) made such a good impression that when the time came to replace another old one I didn't hesitate to get this bad boy. Both trees impressed me with their aesthetic, quality parts, and easy to follow instructions. They really do look nice in my house. More like furniture than your typical fuzzy gray cat tree. So why only four stars? Two things: 1. The two plastic panels that form the front and back walls of the apartment at the bottom of the tree have pre-drilled holes that are misaligned with the wooden pieces they're supposed to attach to. If you have a power drill it should be easy to drill your own holes. It's not a huge thing, but something that should be corrected by FFP at some point. 2. The bigger issue. The first platform down from the top should come with some kind of stiffener. One-third of it is attached to the cross frame, and two-thirds of it is just cantilevered out into space. If you have smaller cats it should be fine. But I've got some bigger boys (14 and 17 pounds), and when they sit on the cantilevered portion of that platform you can see the bend in it. When they jump up from that platform to the top I'm worried it will crack or break entirely. If I were FFP I'd add a stiffener to this platform and the one below it (both platforms closest to the center of the X) just to be on the safe side. I'm going to screw some half round moulding or something to the bottom of these two platforms to stiffen them up. Besides these two issues it's a great tree.

Soooooo much more elegant than the ubiquitous carpet-covered tree. But more importantly, each tier is roomy and sturdy enough for a cat to relax upon. Three of the shelves have viewing access from a standard window height. My felines spend HOURS on their respective shelves watching the world go by out of the window. The quality of this product is A+ ! I can’t imagine that it could EVER be ‘worn-out.’

We have gone through two fabric covered cat trees in 8 months and both were either too unsteady or were too easy to shred apart. This one is attractive and ultra steady. My two adult cats can dash up into it and it doesn’t wobble or tip at all. It’s higher than the other two trees we have had but takes up a smaller footprint of space, which I love. So far I have seen them use each level of the tree, unlike the other ones where there is clearly a favorite spot. I think they like the variety of places to hang out. They are not using the scratching pad feature much, but that’s ok since I have 2 separate posts around the house that they use. For those who are hesitating due to the relatively high price, I do think it’s a good value for the money. It seems built to last. I will update my review if this changes. (I added some of my own fabric to the supplied pads, FYI. Not needed; just something I wanted to do.)

Just a heads up- this cat tree looks great and modern but the edges of the platforms are extremely sharp and the platforms themselves don't have any traction for cats to climb up and down. I had to buy and apply material to the platforms so my cats didn't poke their eye out on the sharp wooden corners and fall off when trying to get to the top. Not to mention, the cheap particle wood started cracking in half and breaking after 3 months so I had to disassemble it and throw the whole thing away. Look elsewhere for a modern cat tree!

I love this cat tree. My cat is a Maine coone so she’s huge and doesn’t fit into the cubby holes found in regular trees. This one works great for her though. This thing is large and a bit of a project to put together, but the instructions are easier than ikea. The quality of the build is very high and it is very easy to clean. There are some spots to scratch if she felt inclined, though my cat doesn’t scratch this tree. I see her on this tree all the time every day, so it must be very comfortable for her. She likes how tall it is and the vantage it gives her over her surroundings.
