I should have read the ingredients more carefully. Water and denatured alcohol are the first 2 ingredients. I tested it on a section of my scalp and it burned my scalp.

I have this awful habit of scratching my scalp when I get anxious. It leads to some inflammation which can be uncomfortable and then leads to more scratching. I know, TMI, but if you’re here for that reason too-I see you, love😉 This is cooling and calming on the scalp. Because of the tea tree oil, it feels similar to icy hot (but in a good way) and the sensation lasts for maybe an hour. I’ve found that it really helps to heal and moisturize scalp dryness and irritated skin. It’s refreshing and feels really nice, like you’re putting on an ice pack or something. I would say though that if you’re sensitive to that icy hot type of cold/mild burn, you might not feel very comfortable. Just something to be aware of. I try to take care of my hair. Sometimes, lately, it has been dry and a bit itchy. Not normal for me. So that is why I wanted to try Four Reasons Original Scalp Revitalizing Tonic- Moisturizing and Calming Anti-Itch Hair Tonic with Tea Tree Oil and Aloe Vera for Dry, Flaky, Itchy Scalp. This tonic comes in an easy-to-use bottle. It has a very small applicator top which makes the application of this tonic to the scalp an amazingly simple task. This tonic smells great, like mint. Sometimes, products with tea tree oil have a strong, unpleasant scent, but this is pleasant. When I applied it to my scalp, it felt soothing, cooling, and it certainly quelled the itch immediately. This is a leave-in serum, so it is simple to use, yet highly effective. This is definitely a keeper in my hair regiment! ... show more
