    • Nice chair
It’s a nice chair, I put it togethers. The arms screw holes didn’t aline up with the back as well as they should have, took alittle muscle to get it to work. It glides nicely. I feel it’s worth what I paid for it.

    • Good quality
Love my rocker, bought it for my living room. Doesn’t take up a big space but a roomy size chair for an adult. Love the padded arm rests too!

    • Squeaking but hope exists
I always known these chairs as Canadian Rockers. I found it’s because they were made by Dutailier Co. of Quebec. After eight years my Dutailier started squeaking then cracking and snapping. WD 40 generously applied to the bearings cured the squeak but not the cracking and thumping. These chairs eventually get these problems. Then I find Dutailier went out of business in 2023. This one is squeaking on the first day. I’m not able to box it up and return it so I hoping WD 40 fixes the squeak and I don’t get the other noises. That will be depressing. Also the cushions were too hard for me so I'm using those from the Dutailier. ... show more

    • Slider motion knocks (update 18 Jan 24)
I love these rockers and was upset when I could no longer buy one locally. So I bought this one. For a month or so it was fine, but then a knock began in one life the pivots, but only when loaded. I’ve sent a message to the manufacturer bus Amazon and left a voice mail since they did not answer there customer service phone number. Have now been waiting more than 2 weeks for a response. I’m not asking for a replacement, as it’s too late, but just if there is done other way to fix it. Update: Contacted Foundation again and was able to talk to their customer service. After finding my Sept 23 order, they have offered to send a new chair. This was as good of response as I could have hoped for. Hopefully the 2nd one will not knock. ... show more

    • Comfy, Safe, and Affordable!
Review Image by McKinnonFamily McKinnonFamily
We purchased 3 of these for our preschool. I really like the Foundations brand--we have their cribs also. They do a great job of making a wonderful product that is also affordable! The cushions on this are amazing! I wasn't sure what to expect, but these cushions are very firm, yet comfortable. I expect them to last a long time. My other favorite feature is the covered side bars. It's just reduces the chances of an accidental finger pinch. However, I want to say that I actually think it's a positive that they don't cover the front and back underside of the chair with a panel. Some gliders or rockers have that, but it limits your visibility. You can see underneath this one easily, so you are not wondering what a child is up to if they do go behind the glider. Note on the cushion color: we ordered what is shown in this picture, which looks like an almost denim shade of blue. We got a very definitely navy blue. We actually much prefer the navy blue, so we were very happy with that substitution! ... show more

    • Very solid
The chair is solid and well made. It glides without squeaking. I gave it four stars for assembly because it was a struggle to line up the arm frames and fasten the cushions- they are very snug. That may contribute to the sturdiness of the chair though. I bought it for use by an individual who is physically challenged. He loves it, and it glides easily, which he is able to do on his own. ... show more

    • Sturdy, comfy, glides nicely
We bought these for use at our church in the nursery. After reading several reviews I decided they were what we needed. They are not the most comfy chair, but I don't want people to spend their time sitting when in a room with children. They are perfect for rocking babies, and feeding infants. I feel safer with a glider than a rocker when it comes to crawlers & their little fingers. These chairs are not meant for plus size people though. The seating area is narrower than a graco glider (we have both). They are awesome chairs and super sturdy though. ... show more
