I have this cat tree and my cats love it and I love it! One of my cats is overweight and he can still get in it without it tipping over at 21 lbs and my other 14lbs cat is a huge fan ! Both my cats fit on and it’s solid.. the design is great and it’s not ugly or overly cutsie. Looks like with age it would be simple to repair. After buying 5 different cat trees this one is a winner!

Not as stable as was expected. It wobbles when they jump up, and the baskets shift when they get in and out. Also, the cats would not use it at first because they either didn’t like the smell of the pillows or the texture, so I replaced them with a soft t shirt.

Extremely disappointing!!! This thing seemed pretty solid but it snapped the other day with only one kitten (7 months old, 7 pounds) sleeping in the top basket. The main post appears to be two separate metal pieces held together with glue, not secured or screwed together prior to being wrapped. This was double the cost of a normal cat tree but it was so cute I spent a little extra on it back in February. I have two kittens who napped in it daily but it’s not in a busy part of the house so it didn’t have heavy use for play or roughhousing. I DO NOT recommend purchasing this!!!

Three of three cats agree, "This is cool." I have other cat climbing structures but this one is very different. I was unsure how sturdy it would be but it turns out the tree itself is metal. The base tree comes in two large sections with a little ring of faux fur in the gap. The tree-like shape suggested it might look fun in a 'garden' setting so I put it with some house plants and it looks great. It was easy to assemble even though the micro-print instructions have to be read under a magnifying glass. The dangle balls immediately came off but they were not tied very well for cat play. I fixed that with fishing knots. The base is super heavy which adds a lot to stability. I like the minimalist unfinished wood, wicker and rope look. The cats find it super easy to climb. The bedding is so soft I wanted to use them for throw pillows but I gave in to the cats. It is not really any pricier than ones in the pet store and the look is excellent. It does not come with catnip to attract the cats. They liked it just fine on their own. Try one. Your furballs will appreciate it.

I ordered this for my son's larger cat to have a cat tree on the upper floor of his house to see out the large front window. He does have a carpeted cat tower on the bottom floor that he loves and uses to look out at the backyard and see the squirrels. The look of this tower is modern and I do like it. It was fairly easy to put together, but it would have been nice if the instructions were larger. They are way too small and it's just one page. The hardest part was connecting the middle part of tree together. It can be put together with the simple tools that are enclosed. The base is a solid, heavy piece of wood. This tower is not tipping over. After it was assembled, we had Jinkx check it out. He sniffed it but was more interested in the box that the tree came in. Then I put a treat in the bottom basket to see if he would jump in, but nope, he just stretched to get to the treat. Then my son, after a while, placed him in the top basket. He stayed in for a few seconds and then jumped down from the top. It has been three days since this has been put together and so far he has showed no interest. He'd rather sit on the rug that's next to the cat tree. I don't know if he doesn't feel comfortable or maybe he doesn't feel safe in the basket, since he is on the larger side, so we'll have to see.

Idk if it was a manufacturing issue but everything seemed to come together until the big piece at the top that you had to screw on. For some reason the nail that needed to be pushed up was literally glued to the screw around it so it was stuck. We couldn’t get the piece to screw on so we ended up just sitting it on the screw anyway and taping it all around and securing it with two heavy card boards on each side so it wouldn’t lean. I wanted to just send it back, but it’s heavy and would when been to much work.
