Purchased the watch not long ago. Less then three weeks. I do like the watch and face. Classic look and went well with a suite. With that said, the band scratched easily and I began to notice it within a day or too. The finish on the leather would scratch with something as simple as my fingernail. It’s only been a solid week and half and the main band looks terrible. This is not acceptable. I now longer enjoy wearing it because of how the band looks and plan to return it. If the band was of higher quality and it did not have this issue, I would most likely be keeping it. Another side note, the hands are a little hard to read at times when it’s not dark or light. But this is just the style. Watch’s physical function works great, looks very nice and I enjoyed it except for the band. Will be returning it. ... show more

My husband is a simple man when it comes to clothing, style, accessories. He's a jeans and graphic t-shirt or polo kind of guy. He doesn't wear accessories at all, other than the occasional ball cap. He is however an IT guy who loves gadgets. I thought I'd gift him a nice classy looking watch and see if he'd take to it, or if it would sit in a drawer for years, untouched. I've been wearing Fossil watches since I was a teen...so well over 15 or so years. They look great, are of decent quality, they last, and the price point is affordable. Well, since gifting this watch to my husband, he has not taken it off. He absolutely loves wearing it, even at night. He enjoys keeping track of the time without his phone, and using the chronographs. He's even found a way to use it as a compass (you'll have to look that one up). So I guess this one was a winner! Maybe one day we'll upgrade to a nice Citizen, but for now this watch will do just fine! ... show more

The face is nice. It says the hands glow and they don't. Can't see it at all in the dark. Also, some said the band isn't quality and it's not. I returned it for a refund because the leather band was seemingly flaking and falling apart only after a couple weeks of use. It also wasn't really comfortable on my wrist. The black version appears black & gold in picture, but the gold is more copper in appearance. The leather band is soft & comfortable. The watch is large, but not thick or heavy. The watch movement is crisp to adjust like a quality watch should be. The chronograph is just two dials, seconds & minutes. The third dial is a 24 hour clock. The chronograph works. Top button starts/stops. Bottom button resets. If the hands do not reset to zero, pull out the center adjustment for the watch hands, then adjust the chronograph with the top & bottom buttons until it reads zero. It's a very nice watch that accepts 22mm watch bands. Keeps time well. The hour & minute hands seem to glow dimly, but not the hour hash marks. The factory tin is a nice touch. Mine came undamaged. You can get the watch engraved for free at any Fossil location. ... show more

Purchased for my husband as a Christmas gift and he loves it. It was securely packaged and had taping around the watch to prevent scratching during shipping. He had to remove a link since it was too big which was a hassle in itself. After much muscle, the link was removed.

The light brown is what I was looking for, and the actual watch looks just like what was advertised. It shipped here in one piece, but the 'display' box was beat up and had to be bent back into some semblance of a square. No instructions provided, just a link. Had to go online to see that there's multiple positions on the pull knob. Instructions are so short, there's no reason it couldn't have been included on the cardboard card that had website link. Leather band is starting to crease after less than an hour of putting the watch on/off, so my hopes for longevity and durability are already low. For the price, I can't complain. It is comfortable. I think it's just a matter of time though before the band starts cracking. ... show more

Did not look good on our son. He is 6 feet tall and works out, but this watch was huge on him. Not just the band, but the face is disproportionately large on his wrist. Unfortunately, we went to the Fossil store to find a replacement, but all of their watches have these big faces. It's the style right now, but doesn't work for everyone. ... show more

This watch came in perfect condition as well as the metal Fossil box it came in. I bought this watch for my SO after his other watch had broken. Although I could have just replaced the strap, I decided to take a chance on this watch and I’m so glad I did. He loves it, the size is perfect and the thickness of the strap is just as nice as any other Fossil watch. Unlike the other reviews, we had no issues and it came beautifully.
