The media could not be loaded. Ordered the Fosi V3 to replace a Fosi 20a I had purchased some time ago. The main differences are, the V3 is a more simplistic setup, promises more power per channel, and uses high quality parts internally. It can come with either a 32 volt or 48 volt power supply. Opt for the 48 volt power supply, you will not regret it. The larger more powerful power supply will get you higher volumes with better quality output On the back side of this unit are connects for a pair of speakers and an analogue input. The older Fosi 20a just did not have as much power particularly with only the supplied 24 volt power supply and fell short driving my Polk Atrium 6 speakers at loud volume. Now, I am using this as a garage system. Hence, the reason I chose to go on the cheap with this system. But....the Fosi V3 got decent audio reviews so what the heck. The garage system is a music system to accompany working on projects or the cars vs. just sitting and listening to music like I do with my home systems that cost much much more. So after connecting up an older generation Echo device to stream music, I used 14 gauge audio cable to connect the speakers to the amp. Very easy to do. The result is as you see it in the attached video. Loud enough for me and the overall sound quality is very good. So, this unit has few connectivity options but what it does, it does well. What I really like about this amp is its small size allowing me to store it in my garage wall cabinet. I would imagine this amp could be part of a home system in a small to mid size room Just be sure to match it up with a pair of good speakers. Speakers with a high efficiency rating will serve you best that is 90db or better. Recommended.

Fosi has some of the best class d amps these days. I've owned a few other brands and none of them had the power or sound quality that this amp has. While I don't think there is really 150wpc sustained effort on tap, it drives my ELAC B6 bookshelf speakers just fine, those are 86db efficient, so not easy for some small amps. I feed it from a Fosi ZP3 preamp with high bypass filter and sub out that cuts the low frequencies to the speakers and routes them to a DIY 10" 150w sealed sub.

great sound and paired great with my wiim ultra preamp I built a remote power relay box to make the amp trigger on and off with the trigger out of the wiim ultra make sure you purchase with the 48v ps only works best with 4 ohm load

I'm a bit particular about my audio equipment, but I didn't want to spend a lot just for my office audio, where I plug in a Pono digital music player. This amp works very well; has good channel separation and imaging. I ran some public domain two channel audio testing recordings through my setup (PSB bookshelf speakers and a Yamaha sub) I couldn't find anything objectionable.

300 wats per channel? (RMS)? not in this universe. Some dubious HiFi manufactures, back in the late '60s, used a rating system of "IPP" (Instantaneous peak power) Which was the momentary highest possible power an amp could deliver before producing more distortion than music, or perhaps exploding (hyperbole). This seems to be the case with most of these Chinese mini amps. That being said, if you can get by with a realistically rated 75 WPC X2 amp this might be a good choice, your cup of tea. Actually, it sounds pretty good especially after installing a pair of Sparkos op amps I had laying around. I'm using it to drive a pair of Yamaha outdoor speakers on our screened porch, replacing a Dayton DAT-120. This little Fosi V3 is defiantly a step up in sound quality. The size is right, the price is right, light on bass, and it works pretty well for a tiny class "D" amp. Did I mention the price?

I enjoy music and appreciate good audio quality but I am not an audiophile. I use the Fosi V3 to listen to streaming music and video from an ASUS PN51 Mini PC's 3.5 mm audio output. I purchased the Fosi V3 with the 48V Power Supply to make sure it had adequate power for my two, highly rated, floor standing Infinity Primus 360 speakers, which sit to the left and right of a large flat panel TV. The Fosi V3 and the similarly sized ASUS Mini PC sit on an end table by my sofa for easy access. I am amazed at the sound quality whether its watching a YouTube music video or streaming a movie. The volume control is adjusted somewhere between noon and 3 O'clock depending upon the output volume of the streaming source. I have never turned it past 3 O'clock, because this was plenty loud in my living room environment. I spent several hours doing research on these mini amps, watching YouTube reviews plus reading several online reviews. From this research it became clear that the Fosi V3 was the best available 2 channel mini amplifier on the market. The sound quality from the Fosi V3 is the best I have heard coming out of my two excellent Infinity speakers. From brilliant highs to smooth mid tones, good base punch, music sounds very natural. I love the simplicity of a single control. The Fosi V3's volume control is just the right size. Excellent design and engineered amplifier. Thank you Fosi. If audio sound quality is your primary goal, I highly recommend this unit.

EDIT: So i owe Fosi a very public apology. When it quit working after hooking my new to me open box purchase of a svs sb 2000 subwoofer i was angry since it had worked to well up till then it comes in a very nice small package. sounded awsome for the first 3 weeks of ownership. a couple of days ago the left channel quit after hooking up the svs. this of course happened after the "no later than" return date by about 7 days. waiting to see what kind of response i get from the company which does claim a 24 month warranty. The fosi engineer and i emailed back and forth many times and long story short my svs sub was at fault. hooked up my old sub and have been enjoying my fosi v3 again. fosi is definitely a great product!
