I use this to drive a pair of Infinity 6*9 inch speakers on my patio. It is small and light and easy to bring out when I want to use it. I leave the speakers and speaker wires on the patio. The amp pairs quickly to my iPhone for my music source. The range is very good. The volume with those speakers is very good, exceeding what I am comfortable to play given that I have neighbors. I bought this to have stereo in my shop. Have a pair of Sony SSCS-5 speakers and a cheap no name powered subwoofer. For just two channel music listening I think this sounds better than my Denon/Klipsch setup in the house! Only reason I gave it 4 stars was I do not know how reliable it is as mine is only a month old. ... show more

    • Like a mini replacement for a reveiver
I had some spare speakers that were previously connected to a receiver. This worked perfectly to power them and connect to the phone via Bluetooth. I'm using it for occasional outdoor music and taking it in when done. I connected two speakers to each channel using sewell ocelot banana plugs for quick disconnect and daisy chaining the speakers. The 4 speakers are rated 130w max and 8 ohms. Volume is loud and sound quality is excellent. This was the perfect solution to Bluetooth connectivity and easy setup and take down. ... show more

Excellent amp! We hooked it up to a mixer that brings audio from a variety of sources, including Alexa, phono record player, music instruments (drums, guitar, keyboard, mic), our home theater and miriads of personal devices via Bluetooth. I am genuinely surprised at the quality of this amp! Regardless of the sources it does very good job and helps my good 125w speakers sound really great. Because my speakers' impedance is 8 Om the amp power output is somewhere around 50W, as I understand, not full capacity, but this is plenty for my living room. I liked it so much, I even bought a second amp by FOSI, a different model, for my children. There are couple of things I would consider before you buy this model: 1) do you intend to use it with a separate subwoofer? If not, you might want to find a different FOSI amp that doesn't have subwoofer outlet and 2 extra controls (that means less knob controls to mess with). 2) If you plan to switch between devices via Bluetooth often, say you have many family members who are going to hook their phones up to showcase something like the newest single of Tones and I - Dance Monkey, then you might want to look for another model, because this amp doesn't have a dedicated switch for the Bluetooth and you will have to interrogate everyone in your house, trying to figure out what device was last connected to the amp. If you don't find that last device and disconnect from it, you won't be able to connect yours. There is no way to turn off Bluetooth on this amp without switching the power off, but that won't help, because your last connected device will automatically connect and you are back in the interrogation room. 3) Volume control knob. It is very small and too close to other controls. Not a problem for me, because I can control through mixer. Those of you not blessed with very delicate fingers - you will struggle with the volume control. 4) I am not sure if this is my problem or the amp or Google's, but I could not figure out how to connect Google Mini to the amp via Bluetooth. It seems like Google Mini does not want to add amp as a Bluetooth device even though it sees the connection. Just FYI. 5) no DAC technology. I don't know if this is very important for you. I guess if you are going to listen to inadequate quality mp3 files, you might need digital to analog conversion to improve sound quality, but who does it these days anyway, use streaming music in high quality compression and delete those old files. Otherwise, it is a great little amp that I never turn off, so I can communicate with artaficial intelgence (Alexa) and let the music fill the room on voice request. ... show more

    • Great Setup for the CrossFit gym I coach--Mini muscle amp 2 month update
The building we coach at is in a large open air warehouse made of brick, heavy steel doors, and a roll up bay door. I'm not sure square footage, but the roof is about 20 feet up. The point is this little unit produces loud enough sound for the athletes we are coaching. I had an old 10"sub-woofer from my high school days (18 years ago) that I just took the amp off of and directly connected--It booms throughout this space. The old setup was a Pyle 2 channel at 75 RMS, and had deep issues with losing bluetooth connectivity, and the speakers sound would crackle at high volumes. I don't recommend any Pyle amps because of the BT issues they have. This thing is super simple at setting up bluetooth, the manual doesn't say, but once you turn on power it takes a few seconds to send out a bluetooth signal labeled "Bluetooth Audio" and the code, if necessary is 0000 or 1234. The main thing with this bluetooth is that it is 5.0 and instantly and steadily holds your connection, even with older bluetooth standard devices. There is no awkward waiting, and when you are coaching an hour class those seconds count. Control knobs are great for this since you can independently control Bass/Treble (for the full-range speakers) and Bass volume/frequency for the subwoofer. I think the volume could be more, but like I said for this environment of at least a 25 meter L X 25 meter W X 7 meter H this is good enough for a "turn the music up and workout" environment. I used banana clips for all of my connections and didn't have any sparking issues. I did have the power cord connected to the amp before I plugged in the plug. The gym is open air, and does get quite humid, but I've had this installed for at least 2 months without issue. The other coaches were about at their wits end with the old bluetooth 2 pyle device we had. So I know what you're thinking, do I take a risk with this little foreign made amp or not. This is everything you need, just get an enclosed sub-woofer and a couple of correctly ohm-rated Full-range speakers and this will be perfect for you.
