Works great in my 1998 Cheroke with 4.0!!
No problems at all! Fixed my CEL for faulty cam position sensor. Starting is no longer an issue. Starts every time and without a hiccup!!! Would recommend at such a great price!!

check part number over trusting the Amazon garage database info for vehicle compatability.....
The Item likely is fine if it fit, however amazon Garage needs to update their parts interchange. Amazon garage says this fits a 98 Grand Cherokee with 4.0L (see screen shot 1), however this is the incorrect pick-up for the 98 grand Cherokee 4.0 and the Amazon garage says the correct one for the 98 Grand Cherokee 4.0 does not fit. (see screen shot 2)

Fixed my problem
I just wish it was labeled a camshaft position sensor. It would of saved me a little bit of troubleshooting.
