I purchased these for part of a Halloween costume and they were perfect. Great fit. They were true to size and very comfortable. I have a little larger calf and since I haven’t ever purchased a full calf boot before I was concerned about the fit. But I had no issues with them fitting. They are a good construction overall for the price. The zipper has a nice pull for putting them in easily. Outwardly the style is as pictured, the buckles were nice quality and the black velvet like material didn’t cuff from wear. If you are looking for these to be a go to staple item for frequent all weather wearing you may want to choose something more suited for durable wear. The “felt like “ soles would not hold up over time or in wetting weather conditions. However, if you are looking for a good quality comfortable fitting boot to compliment an outfit with occasional wear these are a great choice for the price. ... show more

I only ordered a half size up (8.5) because my actual size (8) was out of stock. Thank goodness I did! They fit more like a snug 8, so hopefully I’ll break them in with wear. Otherwise, they are as expected.
