So when I bought my phone in April I bought two cases that were *almost* the same (this one, gritup, and VAKS) intending to return the one I liked less. I liked the other one (VAKS) better and meant to return this one because the camera slide cover is very stiff and the ring was basically impossible to open. I would pry on it and it looked as if the whole thing was going to break off. The rings on these things tend to be very breakable so I just didn't mess with it. I used the VAKS case for maybe a month and after dropping it a couple times it was so busted, chunks of plastic were coming off and it was getting sharp. The camera slide on that one was also extremely loose and basically didn't work. (I DEFINITELY DON'T RECOMMEND THE VAKS CASE) So I gave up on that case and slapped this one on, accepting that I'd never be able to use the ring... But after a few weeks I handed it to my brother to watch a video for a few minutes and when he gave it back the ring was open.. I asked him how he got it open and he said "I pulled hard..." 🤷🏻♀️ So, overall, I've dropped it plenty of times since June, it has just a few scratches on the corners, the ring works (now), and the slide works, but it takes some force and often gets crooked and kind of wedged. Btw, I have noticed since my brother opened the ring that it has little tabs on the inside that click when you close it all the way, it grabs onto the metal inside part. It's actually a good thing because it stays closed rather than popping open like other ring cases I've had. But I think that's why it was so difficult to open the first time. ... show more

Fit well and came with screen protector

Only issue would be color was a bit lighter than the photo and because of this it shows more dirt and hand prints. Smoother than my last protector but has a ring on the back to help hold on to the phone and act as a mini tripod.

I love the look of this case - I got the dark blue. It feels like a sturdy case and seems like it should protect my phone well. I haven't dropped it yet with the case, but it has a lip over the screen and the camera lense that should protect nicely. The ring on the back is great because I can use it to hold my phone when I want to, but then it seemlessly fits in the back when I don't want it.
