I read all the reviews of every case available for my 2024 Motorola Moto G Power 5G phone. As far as I can tell, every reviewer who complained about size or fit, HAD A DIFFERENT PHONE than the above specification. The 2023 won't fit. The non-Power Moto G won't fit, etc. Buying the wrong case is not a reason to write a bad review. As for the fit, it is perfect, and therefore is pretty tight when getting the phone into the case. By trial and error, I found the best way to insert it. 1. With the phone face up, stick the bottom right corner in. 2 Stick the bottom left corner of the phone in, slightly up the left side, not into the case corner yet. If you get both bottom corners in perfectly without doing that, then good luck getting the top corners in with the phone so perfectly centered on the case. The amount of force needed to snap both top corners in at the same time, if it is even possible, is very high, enough that you might break the phone glass. 3. Instead, rotate the phone counter-clockwise to get the top left of the phone just to the inner edge of that case corner. 4. Stick your finger through the case's camera hole on the back, to manipulate the case edge, rather than try to use a finger or anything else to shoehorn it in from the front. At that point, you can finish getting every corner of the phone except the camera-hole corner, all the way into the case. Don't completely remove your finger yet. 5. Now you'll have no trouble manipulating/stretching the case to get the top right (final) corner of the phone through the case opening. Then finish getting the phone in and your finger out. It is tight to get through the opening, but not enough to stress the phone, unless you try using your finger or anything else as a shoehorn. Just don't put anything between the case opening and the phone, so that you don't need to use excessive force. It's not super tricky, but I'm an engineer, and it took me a minute to figure out how to get the phone in without excessive force or using any tools. I strongly advise against using any tools to shoehorn the phone in. Even a popsicle stick might be so tight to crack the edge of the screen. The case seems very strong, and not stretchy like the silicone ones, so prying between the phone screen and case is as likely to break the phone as the case. Once it's in, you're good to go. I don't like plastic screen protectors. Though it came with a perfectly fine one, I bought the set of 3 tempered glass protectors by Mr Shield. As with the case, be sure to the the one for the exact model of phone you have. I chose to put the selfie-camera cutout at the opposite end of the phone, because reviews of pretty much every brand of glass screen protector for this, say it interferes with the edge of the field of view. The genuine Motorola one has no cutout, a clue that just completely covering the selfie camera with the glass is best. Now I just need all new cargo shirts. This is a very long phone, so even before adding the case, my pockets won't close. Ahh, the price of phones becoming as big as tablets used to be. ... show more

I had intended to purchase a case but was traveling and didn't want the package to sit outside. I ordered another phone along with a case the 2nd time around. The case fits well and should protect the phone as well as any other case I've previously owned.
