The battery only lasts 45 minutes on a charge - which is the and amount of time as my 3 year old battery that I needed to replace. Retuning it and paying the extra amount to get an authentic battery from Roomba. UPDATED: The seller was very quick and proactive in reaching out to me to solve the issue. I they sent me another battery free of charge that lasted the expected run time (1+ hour for my Roomba model). I did leave one star off because told me they were sending me a battery with “upgraded capacity.” If it is advertised as being compatible with my Roomba, I believe it should come with that capacity at the outset. However, I’m pleased with what I have now and with the customer care when I didn’t reach out to them for an exchange.

I bought this battery to replace our iRobot Roomba OEM battery after about five years. I was wary of getting the Roomba OEM replacement given the QC issues they seem to have. This one was about half the cost of the OEM battery, so I figured I would give it a try. I have been very happy I did. The Roomba gets run every weekend vacuuming our entire home. We run it in 10 different rooms, with each room taking between 30 minutes and an hour to complete, so it has gotten a lot of use. The battery charges much more quickly than the OEM and the life is quite good - about 2 hours maximum. This means the Roomba usually completes a room and return to the charging base on it’s own - something it hardly ever did with the OEM batttery.
