The screen is great the tools might not be the best but for what you pay a one time use tool set is fine. You will need a razor blade or something to remove old screen tho. And there is a tool you have to use to program the screen or whatever and I didn’t do that so the screen can be kinda weird sometimes but way cheaper than the repair guy.

Dropped it with protector on from a got up not even really it slid off the chair I was in and shattered the screen due to corners being so raised also doesn’t have True Tone I got a replacement due to the bad quality of colored and spotty pixels it’s blurry you could say nothing compared to OLED at all dies so fast now my phone does . Second screen broken again from falling off the couch and hit the charging departed broke right at the same area top outer line of my he proximity’s sensor for Face ID and lighting through my left upper corner Not including three days ago I was going about my normal day and the phone has back feed but with touch of thst makes sense so you hear your voice on a call related as u speak or spoke right It back tracks and shows every touch page and thing I just did at times and I can’t control this either thsn it kicks me out of my apps or stays on whatver app or thing I did last it decides to say when it’s over with The second screen has True Tone or least a option the other previous one did not also seemed to ge a little thinner but still quality of image is terrible snd battery dies to on fast false advertisement Very poor glass and flawed design if it wasn’t so raised the corners wouldn’t hit the ground before anything else does causing this constant problem of breaking the glass even with a screen shatter proof protector on

NOT an OLED screen like the packaging and page says. Also a bulky screen so some cases can have a hard time being put on/could potentially damage the phone because the screen sticks out. Also has really bad motion blur/ghosting so if you have trouble with that don’t get this screen. Only reason why this doesn’t get 0 stars is because the packaging and tools were really nice. Screw mat was also a nice addition to keep everything organized.

It is a nice kit for an affordable XS Max DIY screen replacement. Everything one needs. I don't know if it is the fault of the screen or IOS 18, but the flashlight and camera icons don't work on the lockscreen anymore. And it seems like it doesn't want to wake up by just touching the screen. I have to use the side button to wake it up. Unfortunately I upgraded to IOS 18 at the same time as installing the screen so i just don't know which is to blame. But otherwise i am happy, and it makes super sharp images.
