The media could not be loaded. My trusty old iPhone 8 Plus has been chugging along for nearly a decade, including one battery change. The old case just disintegrated one day...it should've been replaced a long time ago, seeing as the kickstand wasn't very durable anyway, and it had that annoying kind of rubber that time was not kind to. I've been using this new case for a couple days. Boy, is it sturdy. Not only is it thicker than the old case, but it's truly tough & rugged, enough so that it feels like it's going to last another 7 years. It seems like the quality of generic cases -- even for old phones -- has gone up of late, because my dad got a similar case for his iPhone 10 Pro Max and it's just as thick, tough & confident. Like the other 10 Pro Max case, it has a sliding camera cover, something I find new on cases. I haven't needed to use it but it might be of benefit if you think your iPhone is spying on you. Like most phone cases it also comes with a screen protector, which I haven't needed to use either because my 8 Plus's old screen protector shows no signs of aging. Even 7+ years later. There's only one thing I find weird about this case, and it's the rotating kickstand. It is TIGHT. As in, ultra-taut. I had such a hard time unfolding it, it felt like it would break off. At moments it seemed like a decoration. With enough force, however, it eventually folded out. Be sure to hold the center part of the kickstand in place when you unfold the outer part! My dad and I have purchased generic phone cases for nearly a decade, going back to 2014 when Nokia made Windows phones (remember those days?) Considering a lot of these probably come out of the same few factories, I'm a bit surprised how tight the kickstand is, both in opening and operation. In all likelihood though it'll loosen up over time, which is usually the case on other cases (no pun intended 😉). It does also inspire confidence! Even considering that one quirk, if you have an old iPhone 8 Plus still chugging around, I'd still strongly, highly recommend this case! ... show more

This fits my iPhone 7 Plus. I like how the camera cover can lock both into and out of place. The stand is adjustable but it isn't quite wide enough for me to fit my middle finger joint through it to hold onto the phone better. That's the only downside I've seen.

Feels sturdy and it was easy to put on my iphone. I did have a bit of a tough time with getting the kickstand out. It was so tight that I had to use a flat haead metal utility to lift it out of its place so I could use it.
