The screen didn't work. I had two iphone twelves that didn't work. One just stopped working--no idea why--the second had dead spots on the touch screen. I bought the screen replacement to fix the second phone. Followed the directions--which were really good--but the screen did not work. To troubleshoot, I re-attached the old screen and it worked. So I took the screen from the other phone that didn't work at all and put it on the other phone and it works great now. overall an easy installation screen worked great and the touch was really responsive but the durability of the glass was kinda poor. i dropped it a few times but not from a high height and yet the screen started breaking. overall a good quality for a screen replacement.

It comes with a kit of tools which is nice. There is also a video online, thought a bit hard to get to since you have to scan via QR code. (I had no phone to scan the code due to my broken screen lol) The one thing I did not like about the video is that they do not express that some screws are different sizes and need to be replaced in the same screw holes. Luckily I knew this before hand though. After the screen replacement, I noticed a bright discoloration at the top and bottom of my screen. Not the worst thing for the price. I noticed that face ID was failing more often on the first day of the replacement, then the next day it stopped working entirely. I tried to reset my face ID, but it looks like it is now disabled. I've tried to turn it back on via field test mode, but I'm having no luck. If anyone else had the same issue and was able to resolve it, please let me know! I'm terrible at remembering my passwords and I'm almost relient on Face ID ... show more
