  • fundamentally flawed
It cannot fit on a Model D/PM5. Pictures of installed product in listing and product itself are inconsistent. Looking at each closely they just don't add up. They don't match the physical product. There is a one page PDF instruction sheet under "Safety Information" on the left. It talks about removing a bolt and using it to securely attach to the rower. It does not show how and I could not find a way possible without cutting or drilling even after taking off the PM5 display arm. Never mind the fact that the product description claims a tool free install. Returned. ... show more

  • It broke when I tried to assemble it.
This looks like it should work, the the parts didn't fit together properly and the bolt holes didn't line up. It broke when I tried to assemble it. Since I never got it installed, I cannot comment on the ability of it to actually be used. The material seemed fine. It was the fit that didn't work.

  • Does Not Work with Concept2 Rower (PM5) Does Not Work with Concept2 Rower (PM5)
I have another Concept2 rower that is slightly newer and came with a tablet holder built in - I didn't look too closely and figured this would be the same. I received the unit (comes in bubble-wrap with no instructions and no packaging aside from plain bubble-wrap) and upon opening immediately noticed the corner was damaged; this was clearly a 3D printed offering (which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it has a distinct look and they typically have less durability). This thing is very bulky and is NOT compatible with my Concept2 Rower - and even if it were is so bulky, I question its effectiveness and it would be an eye-sore. The tablet attachment area is technically adjustable - but needs to be screw-tightened with a screw driver... so not user friendly at all. This does not compact well for storage and generally doesn't appear to be a stable mount for an iPad or other high-end tablet. Price is exceedingly high for what you get - and I'm not sure this is worth paying for in general. Overall 0.5/5 ... show more
