Great product! I’ve been using it to make homemade dog treats for my pup, and it works perfectly! The trays are spacious, making it easy to dehydrate a variety of ingredients in one go. I use it primarily to create healthy, preservative-free snacks for my dog, like chicken or sweet potato jerky. I will also plan on using it to dry fruits, flowers, and herbs for homemade tea. The drying process is consistent, and the snacks come out great every time. The controls are easy to use. One thing to note is that it can be a bit noisy, but it's not a deal-breaker for me. Also, I appreciate is its 800W power capacity. Despite being powerful enough to dry food efficiently, it doesn’t consume a lot of electricity, which makes it economical to use for longer periods. The media could not be loaded. We are using food dehydrator to make jerky and dog treats. Prior machine only had 6 layers, we replaced it with this machine which has 12 layers with 800 watt power. This machine comes with drip pan, which is a plus. It has interior light so we don’t have to open the door to check the food. Four preset functions. We process in large batches, with 12 trays we manage to dry serval pounds of food in a single run. ... show more
