This is an awesome bed. Immediately after cutting it loose, it expanded to about 8 inches, then the 10 inches within a few minutes. There was virtually NO chemical smell...and being chemically intolerant, I KNOW! Nevertheless, I aired it out for 24 hrs anyway. The top gel layer is supportive yet giving, allowing the rest of the mattress to do its thing. I needed firm yet comfortable support without metal springs, and that's exactly what I got with this mattress. My previous mattress was an air bed that lacked the support that I needed to lay more upright for my Gerd. Returning these compressed mattresses really isn't a viable option, so trek on over to a mattress store to try out this kind of bed b4 ordering...and save the vendor from a bad review because you didn't like how it felt. The media could not be loaded. Went with 8inch twin mattress. Came rolled in tight plastic and boxed. Unrolled and let it air out in unfinished basement for 2 days. No immediate smell and it reshaped evenly and perfectly. Bought for 8 year old who loves it and wants to hang out on bed all the time. Sleeps perfectly at night. Firm enough to sit directly on metal slates on bedframe without box spring, but soft enough to provide even support. Dense enough a heavy adult could sleep on as well without hitting bottom. I was uncertain at first due to other comments, but 100% happy with purchase. Actually considering buying one myself when I need to replace my own mattress. Not made with natural latex which is hard to find with mattresses. Standard twin sheets fit easily on it. Great value and quick delivery. 10/10. Definitely recommend.

I almost hated this mattress. When you first open it, it’s not comfortable AT ALL but after a couple of days of letting it take it’s form, it is MUCH more comfortable

If you like a soft bed that sinks in a bit then this is the one. Had it for about a year and I still feel like it’s new. Cleaning it is pretty easy and I’ve been able to get some wine stains off with no issue. Just make sure you have a solid frame because that might affect your experience.

Overall this is a great comfortable mattress at a low price. It feels firmer to the touch than most memory foam mattresses, but it feels softer when you lie on it- the material compresses just enough to feel soft while providing strong and surprisingly uniform support to the whole body. We were looking for a firm mattress for our new guest room as many of our relatives have back issues, but we ended up sleeping on this for the first few nights after moving in. It's surprisingly comfortable for such an affordable mattress and we've been sleeping more soundly than ever. Makes me wish we'd gotten this brand for our own room. TLDR; great firm mattress at a low price- would highly recommend!

This was the second mattress I bought for a set of bunk beds full over twin. This one was the twin and was so darn easy to open!! The full (different company) was a pain in the ----. This is a really nice mattress. Well made and came very nice! Would highly recommend and buy again! I wish I would have one like this on the bottom!
