So initially - it turned on and had a flashing "E01" error then it would not turn on at all. "Great," I thought - shame on me you get what you pay for. The instructions are very Chinese translated to English kinda funny sounding - so you look at that and go "I'm in for an awesome time here..." After looking at it for a few minutes, you can see on the right post that holds the panel, a wire which must operate the controls. It goes somewhere into the front of the unit by the motor. I removed the small screws holding the cover over the motor and found that this small plastic plug that connects to a circuit board was disconnected. Praise be! There was an attempt to glue the connector in place so it does not come loose during shipping or when you fold up the control panel, but the hot glue came loose and then acted as a wedge keeping the connection apart. After I plugged it in, screwed the motor cover back on - we have a great SUPER VALUE treadmill. It says you can Bluetooth to it, but we use our phones and earbuds so I didn't care about that - it does get picked up by my phone as a device to connect to. ( I just haven't used the feature). The speed is adjustable by increments of 0.2km. Yes, friends, you will have to convert, we have a sticky note on the machine with a few of our popular distances for quick reference! 3.1mi = 5km (that's a basic run for us) Other than that, there is a pulse monitor (do not care, I have a Fitbit strapped on) Speed readout Time So you have 4 main measurements and a knob in the middle to start and stop the speed. There is a nice dial to turn and fine-tune the speed by small increments. Ther are also quick sets for speeds at 2 -4 -6 -8km The main reason I bought this was that it has a magnet suspension deck for cushioned running. I am 6' 195lbs, my wife is 5' 90lbs and the deck moves accordingly for both of us. We really like the cushion and I have no trouble with my strides fitting on this machine. However, there is not a lot of room to wiggle - so I you are someone who moves laterally a lot while running you will skid your foot on the side rails. Looking at other machines I saw that the magnet suspension was a costly attribute on some. This unit is great and has a powerful enough motor for a full-size guy like me. We use it on days it is too snowy or cold here around Cleveland, OH. I did not want to money or space wasted on some huge unit that I only want to use in the winter. You cannot fold the control tower down and up with ease, it screws in place. So it is very storable under a bed, but you wouldn't want to do it every day because you would be unscrewing hardware every time you want to put it away. It will store nicely away though when you are done using it for a season. Great price - can not beat it for the running cushion it gives you. If you are looking for a very inexpensive machine to use because you want a nice run, save space, and something you can store away seasonally - this is it. After my initial fright when it didn't turn on, I am very happy to have spent a couple of hundred bucks on this great little unit that has everything I need and none of the overpriced bells and wistles I do not. ... show more

The front was dented in, we have not tried standing it up to see if it can stand like it’s supposed to be able to yet. Just sad that it arrived like this :(. So far though not having too much trouble with the treadmill other than it’s a pain to get the running pad aligned straight, and wish the phone holder part on the bar was deeper as my phone in its case does not fit well. ... show more

I've run like 50miles on it so far so I'd say it works lol. My only problem is it's in Km not Mph but I'm using it as a learning experience. 1.61km is a Mile lol

The power plate doesn't turn off after we turned it on. The remote isn't working in it either. We are requesting a refund but the seller hasn't responded in a week.
