I bought this thinking it might not be enough protection, because it is thinner than many cases out there. I was worried that it would not protect my z Flip 3 as well as some others I had tried. I needed to find something that wouldn't bulk of the phone much, so I could fit the phone in a new wristlet I found and this one is great, despite being slimmer. I also think this one looks more professional than the bulkier ones. I am a clutz, so I have dropped my phone a few times, and this case worked very well. It did not fall off and the phone was kept safe, etc. I made two alterations that you won't need to make. For extra protection, I add some double sided tape to make doubly sure it stuck to the phone well, but that might have been overkill and not necessary. I also drilled two tiny holes on the upper left side so I could attached a lanyard from time to time. You won't have to do either of those things, but I do it to all of my phone cases. ... show more

I've had this phone cover a few weeks now. It's thinner than the heavy gauge plastic ones, but still does a great job of protecting the phone. It makes the phone look like a leather wallet, and takes up a lot less width than other phone cases. Highly recommend for the price!

There is an adhesive on it to help it stay on. I bought an otter box for my z fold and it was awful. Fell off easy and wasn't durable. A tab broke off in my pocket so it didn't stay on well after that. Doesn't seem like it will protect it well from a bad drop but provides some protection and it isn't bulky. Some of the stitching is starting to fray but I'm not super concerned about that. ... show more

This is the third case I've picked up for the flip 3. First impressions on this case are really good. Before I installed it, I looked it over for any flaws and it looked well crafted for the price. The other 2 cases, a Spigen thin fit, purchased while waiting for Samsung leather case as part of the phone deal. I'm never disappointed with that case. The Samsung leather case only had leather on the bottom cover. Everything else was plastic. Flimsy plastic. Brittle sides. The phone would probably break the case if dropped. This gem looks great. The leather seamlessly leads to sides that are more solid than the Samsung $80 retail case. Since the power button doubles as the fingerprint reader, this case has one cutout that leaves the power and volume keys easily accessible. I really hope this case continues to impress.
