With the new tires and wheel combination used on vehicles today it is almost impossible to not curb rash the rims . With the new dark/black rims the rash shows and is much more noticeable then the past silver rims. With proper cleaning and preparation this Little bottle of paint can cover the scraped area effectively but in my view it is still noticeable. I bought the black matte finish and from a distance it hides the defaced area however it is definitely noticeable when looking close (ie when washing the wheels/car) the paint does not totally match in color but I guess this is to be expected due to the many shades of matte black there are. It is a little thick in viscosity and I guess that is meant to fill in the unprepared gouges/rash on the rim. In conclusion I used it and am sort of satisfied, would I buy it again probably not unless I could not get a better solution ... show more

Ordered Matte Black for my wheels but looks gray when applied and dried. See photos. The bottle does say "Black". This is NOT Black paint therefore does not match. As they say, close but no cigar. :/
