This was used to paint the raised lettering on a mailbox sign. The color is perfect for what I needed. I thinned it with water to get a smoother finish. It took longer to dry because of that and required several thin coats, but the end result is an extremely durable finish. Great Purchase.

My Folk art 670 blue pearl was purchased for the metallic coloring and it delivered that nicely. I’ve been using Folk art paints for over a decade now , and some of the paints I have are that old. These paints can last if kept sealed and stored properly. I took off one star as my paint arrived un-sealed and showed signs of prior use ( container was only 80% filled) , plus it was a bit dried out. Considering how fair the price is, who ever returned it was a major cheapskate, but an un-sealed bottle should’ve been checked. Ultimately I was glad to find this color at such a good price and I can recommend Folk art paints, the bottle size provides a good amount and the colors apply well, good coverage & blendable. ... show more

I bought several colors of the metallic acrylic paint to use on my pottery bells (instead of glazing and firing them). The coverage is excellent, and the metallic effect comes through very nicely. They dried with a nice gloss, but I decided to seal the paint with Mod Podge to keep everything intact.

I'm in the process of making a highly detailed wood stagecoach model. and wanted a metallic finish for the rims. Although this paint had a nice metallic finish, the tint was way too light to look realistic on my project. I decided to mix some black acrylic paint with this. Results are very impressive.
