I needed a kind of unique shade, and ended up getting the exact color I needed. The paints mixed together easily and covered the frame well without any prep needed. I wanted a really opaque finish, so I ended up doing three coats, plus I had the paint to spare, so I was generous with it, but it covered well with just one coat, and I could have definitely gotten away with only two. I had a little book-shaped box I wanted to paint. I used 2-3 coats of this paint on the bare wood. I had a gold enamel paint that I used for the details and sides, which came out a bit sloppy, but I can't do the accuracy I used to. It is a beautiful thick white. It is not sheer or thin but not gooey And thick. So far most of the things I have done only needed one coat. A few messier paintings needed a second after drying but that was more to my mistake of bleeding the colors together. I will def buy this again
