Try to buy American made or stuff not made in China. This is the best coffee, if my grandparents drink Folgers For 40 years or more it’s good enough for me. Love it and it’s cost effective, doesn’t hurt my stomach and is safe to drink then other coffee brands while nursing. Never had a problem with Folgers been drinking it for 21 years. We have 2 in our family that have dietary restrictions in caffine products. Prior to discovering this flavor put out by Foldgers, we spent mounds of unnecessary money to achieve lower caffine levels. As such, (regardless of brand) we bought 1 "regular" and 1 decaffeinated can and mixed the 2 to bring the caffine level down. Using Foldgers Half Caff coffee reduced our cost, maintained the flavor, and made our life better. If you want a coffee with great taste & lower caffine, or simply want the late night coffee without the stimulating effects...Then purchase Foldgers Half Caff. You won't be sacrificing the rich flavor that Foldgers is known for. The negative impact, if any: Foldgers Half Caff isnt available in bulk. Other flavors and strengths such as dark, rich, vanilla, etc are not available in Half Caff. Overall, it's my opinion that you'll never go wrong or be disappointed with this product. ... show more

When my husband had stents placed in his heart, the doctor recommended drinking decaf coffee. However, when my husband told him that he did not like decaf, he said to at least drink half decaf. I was mixing it myself when I found this Folgers blend. He loves it and I don't have to spend my time trying to blend regular and decaf into one container. We can not find this coffee locally anymore, so I am glad to be able to get it here. My husband's doctor recommended less caffeine for him and this does the trick. It still has all the flavor and great taste as the original.

Look, it’s a cheap bin of coffee. It has half the caffeine of regular coffee and it’ll last you a good long while. It’s not horrible coffee but it’s also not for anyone to whom flavor is the most important component of a cup of joe. As I've gotten older, caffeine has become more and more of an issue for me when it comes to getting a good night's sleep. Unfortunately for me, I love coffee! I find this Folger's half-caff to be an excellent compromise. It allows me to reduce my caffeine consumption by 50% while still delivering a very good cup of coffee. I make a pot in the morning using a Cuisinart Drip machine, turn off the heating element after breakfast and consume the rest over the course of the afternoon, reheating as necessary in the microwave.
