Works well. It is lightweight...but, was bought primarily for a 6y/o to climb on my bed and reach the sink for teeth brushing. The folding is nice as it slides out of the way when she is not here. I can use it for reaching somewhat. I am small framed, 5ft 2in, and 150lbs. It is smaller in width, so larger person might feel unstable on it. Not sure about weight limit. I feel my weight is probably pushing it.
