I'm known for mainly 1-Star or 5-Star reviews; simply put, you either provide as advertised or you didn't. In this case, they didn't. 1) No Carry Bag for storing the cot.. ALTHOUGH the instructions advise you to store the cot in its Carry Bag when not in use. 2) No Carry Bag for carrying the cot. Now how do you suppose the people in those illustration pictures safely carried their cot into and through their office building?!?!??? How do you haul that to a camping site?!?!??? 3) No Carry Bag for the pad. You certainly cannot fold it up in the cot! 4) No Carry Bag even offered for sale by the company; at least not that I can find. 5) The illustration showing 3" of padding is NOT even true after the pad has been out of the vacuum-seal bag for a day or two. Trust me when I say that you're going to want to add a real pad under that one and use that one for stain protection; sweat, beverages, food, insect repellent, sunscreen, etc. Was it sturdy? Hmmmm, I have other cots that feel more robust and sturdy, but it didn't feel weak. I'll give it some break-in time to make sure everything settles in because the instructions do mention that it might be a little tight at first. Otherwise, it looked as pictured and came with the pad, as expected. HOWEVER, I also expected AT LEAST a Carry Bag for the cot... and for the same reasons, one for the pad. What I got instead was a very cheap, very thin eyemask for sleeping. The strap will be lucky to survive one night and the eyemask is definitely no Manta! The only blackout that mask might ever see is from a rolling brownout or power outage on a Dark and Stormy Night. Since Snoopy never finished that literary endeavor, we'll never know if his eyemask for sleeping fared any better. LOL Is the cot strong? I'm 225 in clothes and boots and it didn't blink. Or maybe its eyemask masked the blink... LOL... but seriously, it didn't seem to mind my weight. Did it mar the floor? This house is old but not even this cot could mar the floor in any way. Value? Well .... I guess that depends on how you view items that traditionally come with a Carry Bag for carrying and storing but arrive with none. A cot that cannot be easily carried and cleanly stored... Not to mention packed in a vehicle without having things falling between the exposed legs or possibly spilling onto the exposed cot material and pad... has no value to me, even if it's a superior cot. Let's be honest .... What's the value of a car without wheels & tires??? To be fair, I do suppose that in today's world, both could sit there and be labeled "ART" and some fool somewhere would buy that. However, as they (and most of us) say, "Mama didn't raise no fool." ... show more

It is very sturdy & comfortable. However, the bag that holds it had a very large tear in it & one of the clasps that holds the cot together, when folded, was missing. I reached out, got an apology & was advised that a new clasp & bag will be shipped to me..... that was a bout 3 weeks ago, neither have arrived. ... show more

    • Super comfortable!
I have been looking for something to use for camping that is not inflatable. This cot was super comfortable with the pad and no bars at the feet or shoulders to cause pain. The carry bag is awful and I will replace it as soon as possible but the cot itself is wonderful.

    • Storage Bag is Too Small
The cot itself seems sturdy enough. We haven't actually used it yet, but I've opened it up and tried it out for a few minutes and there seems to be no problem with it. However, the storage bag is too short and doesn't actually close around the top and there is a huge hole in the seam. The bag cannot accommodate the pad either, so that has to be stored separately. It doesn't seem like it would be that hard to provide a bag that actually fits the cot, especially at this price point. I tried to return it with the hopes that they would just send me a credit, but they want me to send it all back. The box it was delivered in was damaged, so I would have to go buy a new box or something in order to return it. For a damaged item, they should be willing to give a refund without requiring the hassle of sending it back. ... show more
