Easy to open and close, sturdy and comfortable. It beats sleeping on the hard, uneven ground. Two together allow for side by side sleeping with a double sleeping bag.

Update: after sleeping on cots- we were not impressed. The mattresses are very thin and the carry bag ripped all the way down while in transport. The mattresses since not in a bag were dirty (we went to the desert) there was no protection to keep clean (should make a transport bag for mattresses) We had purchased these cots for an upcoming trip out of state. Opened item to inspect it for defects & comfort all were great.. mats are thin but ok in comfort (I am 155 pounds, hubbs is about 250 and said it was comfortable) keep in mind we have not fully slept on them yet. Cots are sturdy and nice length, head is at,a slight incline which we like. However, we were highly disappointed that the mattress does NOT fit in the travel carry bag with the cot. I am not looking forward to carrying mattresses and cots separately and them taking up extra space. In total we purchased 5 of these cots. So that's 5 cots and 5 mattresses taking up double space.

If you are a heavier person I would not buy this cot! I received two and when we opened them and set them up the first time one of them would not click into place. We decided to overlook that and keep them at the time but it ended up being a big mistake as the other one ended up breaking within 12 months of mild use (My young adults used it for sleepovers) and the second one completely broke this past weekend (it was me sleeping in it and I am well under the recommended weight and only my second time using it myself). We've had them approximately 2 years. Also I would like to add that the mattress pad that came with it is nothing more than the thickness of a light comforter.

The cots are adult length. Come up and go down easily. The head doesn’t adjust to different heights as shown, but they’re still perfect for what we need. The mattress topper is thin, but we bought the 3” foam to go underneath and they’re fine.

Cots are nice - a little challenging to figure out at first since there are zero instructions. Also they arrived separately and almost a week apart. One that was receive was quite clearly a return had stains and 2 broken straps. Didn’t have to time return before trip. Not pleased with a used product especially at the price I paid.
