From EcoVida Outdoors, this folding Adirondack chair came ready to assemble—I wasn't expecting that. While all the parts were there, it needed two people to assemble, so I waited for some backup. Then I decided to box up the parts, put them in my car, and take them to my cousin's so he could help me assemble. Since all the parts were enclosed in the box along with the wrench and screwdriver, putting it together should have been a no-brainer. Instead, it was a bit confusing. The 12-minute assembly time was, in actuality, over an hour, and with three of us (or should I say two plus an extra voice). The instructions were not as clear as we would have liked, so there were a few instances of the wrong screws being used. But, we did get it together. The chair easily folded for transport in the back of my car and was not too heavy for me to carry back to my house and onto my back patio. The chair is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and is a gorgeous, rich navy blue. It weighs 25 pounds, which is lightweight in comparison to wooden outdoor chairs, but has a weight capacity of 330 pounds. The chair is sturdy and durable and designed to last through summer's heat and sun as well as the cold of winter's ice. It won't rust, rot, or peel through rain, salt, or snow. The color will stay vibrant without the need for painting or staining. The chair feels comfortable, not leaning too far back. The blue complements the color of my dining table's umbrella. Now I can relax and read (and still keep an eye out for the gators). I would definitely recommend.

I'm a big guy so I usually stay away from these types of chairs because they sit so low. I figured I'd give this one a shot and worst case scenario, one of my kids could use it. Let me tell you, I'm amazed at how sturdy those arms held when I was pushing myself up out of the chair! The classic Adirondack shape is spot-on. The seat is low and angled just enough to feel relaxing. The wide armrests are perfect for holding a drink, your phone, or just your dignity after a long day. What really sets this one apart, though, is the folding design. It collapses easily and stores flat, making it simple to toss in the garage or transport to the lake without feeling like you’re moving furniture for a medieval banquet hall. It feels solid when you sit in it—no creaking, no wobbling, no unsettling sense that you’re about to fold with the chair. I’ve used it on grass, gravel, and carpet, and it stays stable and comfortable. Its still more something that I will be letting the kids use, but I'm happy that in a pinch I can use it. It’s comfortable enough to nap in, sturdy enough to trust, and foldable enough that I don’t resent it when it’s time to pack up. If you want an Adirondack chair that respects both your back and your limited storage space, this one earns its spot by the fire pit—or the fishing hole.

This is a very nice outdoor chair. It took me about 15 minutes to put it all together. If I had to do another one I bet I could get it down to 10. So there’s a slight learning curve, but nothing too bad. It includes all of the tools you’ll need and the instructions are reasonably well laid out. I ended up putting one of the armrests on backwards at first, so I had to undo that. But other than that, if you can put together a piece of pre-fabricated furniture, you can handle this chair. As the instructions state, this material has some give to it. When you sit down, you can feel it flex a tad. I think it actually makes it a little more comfortable than the average Adirondack chair because it’s not quite as rigid. But it does come as sort of a shock if you aren’t expecting it. The blue color is nice. I hope it holds up in the sun. There are a few places where the paint or whatever the blue coloring is appears to be a little lighter and almost speckled. But nothing too noticeable. Overall, this is a very nice chair that will live on our deck for many years. The folding aspect is nice for when we need to put it away for the season.

The chair itself is fantastic. Assembly is straight forward, but you might need a second set of hands to hold a piece or prop it against something else. I am 6'4" 290 and I find the chair comfortable. It is an Adirondack chair so getting out of it is not for the faint of heart because you sit low to the ground. There is one set of bolts that are on the long side and I wish they included caps because someone with wandering fingers is likely to catch it. I may end up trimming those 2 bolts down. It does flex when you sit on it, but that is the nature of the material and I don't have any concerns with it breaking. My only grip is it smells. I'm sure overtime it will off gas outside, but if you leave it indoors expect a foul odor for a while. All in we are impressed and will likely buy 3 more to match.

I’m really impressed with this Adirondack chair. The navy blue color is fantastic and looks great on the deck, but what really sold me was the convenience. It was an incredibly easy setup right out of the box, so I was able to start using it almost immediately. The biggest bonus with this model is that it actually folds up. Most Adirondack chairs are a total pain to move or store because they’re so bulky, but being able to fold this one down makes it so much more portable and space-saving for when I'm not using it. It’s made of HDPE material, so it feels very sturdy and like it can actually handle being out in the weather without rotting or fading like wood would. It’s the perfect height for sitting around the fire pit, and the wide armrests are a nice touch. If you want a classic look with modern convenience, this is definitely the chair to get. 5 stars all the way!
