I have several Adirondack chairs around my fire pit, so I've put several of these together. I have to say that this is one of the easiest Adirondack chairs to assemble! The instructions are clearly printed and easy to follow, and each piece/tool is clearly labeled. Each piece lined up as it should to make assembly easy as well. Once assembled, there's a few features that I love! I love that there's a cup holder, and it's built in a way that prevents rainwater from filling up in it. This is also easy to fold for storage or to move to a new area. It's still a bit bulky, and there's some weight to this chair, but it's a nice feature! These Adirondack chairs are well made of quality materials and pretty easy to assemble. They are foldable which is nice but they are also still heavy like most Adirondack chairs. They are as comfortable as an Adirondack chair can be and just as difficult to get out of too. I love the way they look though. Now that the weather is getting cooler here, I was able to get my husband to put this Adirondack Chair together. Instructions were clear and it was fairly easy to assemble. The chair was sturdy and comfortable to sit in. The folding feature makes it really convenient to store when not in use. I love the green color because it makes the chair stand out in the woods. This adirondack chair needs to be assembled before use, but it's pretty simple to do, especially with two people. Just don't tighten down anything all the way until completely sure everything fits together. We've had it outside with no throughout the hottest summer in a long time and it's held up extremely well. The material is a hard composite and it's looking great. I suspect it will continue to look great year after year! ... show more

First I'd like to appreciate that this isn't one of those adirondak chairs that you disappear into and can't get out of. This one is smaller than those kinds and therefore a lot more comfortable in my opinion. It has a cup holder but the flat arms can also be used as a drink rest because they don't tilt back like the seat does. Which I also prefer. The green color is really fun and bright but without being fluorescent. It apparently folds up but I haven't tried that yet. That will be a nice feature when it's time to put away for the season though. Assembly was a bit tricky and took longer than I'd have liked. Definitely helps to have 2 people because of the angle some pieces have to be held to be screwed into. But it was worth it in the end and I'm very happy sitting in my chair. ... show more

    • Nice chair with very poor build instructions
Once fully assembled, this is a fairly standard lounge/deck chair that has the added bonus of being foldable. It's as comfortable as other slouching Adirondack chairs and has been a nice addition to our backyard. Unfortunately, it's not easy to assemble -- many of the parts are not properly labeled, and the instructions aren't clear about what to do with many parts. The parts also weren't well packaged -- I found most of the included screws and tools rattling down on the bottom of the box. They were not sealed in bags or labeled in any way. Additionally, it's very difficult to put together without someone to help or hold things in place. Ultimately, this is a nice chair. I'm glad we have it -- but I found putting it together to be a miserable experience. If you buy this chair, make sure to set aside at least an hour to assemble, and have a friend, a power drill, and a set of real tools ready. ... show more
