This is a pretty strong landing net and very light weight. I really like the way how it can extend and reach out of the boat to scoop up the fish that you're landing, and the size of the opening is very good as well. And the way how it can handle fish that's over 10 pounds is very good. Other than that, the handle is very strong. On the extension, there is no wobble between the joints at all. The handle is very light weight and is easily deployed if it's folded. Just slide the locking mechanism on the handle to lock it and it will be very solid. As for the netting, it's very solid and rubberized where it would protect the fish from getting injured after landing it. I believe the netting is replaceable as well which is a plus. After use, it pretty much goes compact again and easily stowed. Overall, this is a great landing net for the weight and the portability of it. It's solid throughout and its real carbon fiber which makes this well worth it.

The media could not be loaded. Fast ship the only problem I have with it is visually. I can’t judge how deep it is online so it’s not gonna work for what we want it for. It’ll catch small fish but you get anything bigger than 20 inches. It ain’t gonna fit. It’ll probably flop out. I do like to handle it’s well put together it should hold

This folding fishing net is very useful piece of gear for any fisherman, especially those fishing from shore! My daughter likes to go fishing after school with a couple of her friends, fishing from shore in various places, and this net has helped them land more fish! The net is lightweight and easy to carry, and the telescopic, folding design makes it fit in the trunk of her car easily. The hoop and bag are a bit too small for larger fish like northern pike, but it works great for bass, and bluegills! The silicone net is soft and easy on the fish, while keeping hooks from getting buried in it. The carbon wrap of the handle is a bit awkward, as the edges of the layers are all exposed. Overall it’s a functional, compact design, that makes this net a great option for any fisherman!

At the time of writing, this net is listed for about $32. It's certainly worth it for that price. It came well-packaged with the handle in it's own little sleeve. All you have to do is screw the handle into the net and you're good to go. The handle folds into the net for portability which is nice. It says it's carbon fiber and I guess it is, but it seems awfully inexpensive if it is. It certainly looks and feels like carbon fiber. The net has a little play at the hinge, but it feels sturdy otherwise. The handle is a 3-piece telescoping unit and I feel most comfortable with one section extended. It has great reach with both sections extended, but feels a little springy. I put some weights roughly equal to the biggest catfish I catch in the net to test it and it did fine, but did bend a little. That could just be the nature of the carbon fiber. I trust it on the fish I catch. My only complaint is that it can be tough to collapse the handle. Even after loosening the collars you may have to tap the bottom of the handle on the ground pretty hard to get it to collapse. It's getting better the more I use it and the instructions did say you might have to do this. It just felt weird banging a brand new net on the floor. I also wish the diameter of the handle was just a little bigger, but that's just a comfort issue. I love this net for the price. We fish at the lake 8-10 times a year and I think this net will last a while under those conditions. If I fished more I would probably invest in a more sturdy unit, but this is a great value for limited use.

Feels very flimsy and cheaply made. When fully extended I would be hesitant to scoop any fish over 12-15”. When putting a little weight in the net the plastic collar where the handle meets the net frame starts to bend. I circled the weak plastic point in a picture. This would be ok for a kayak and helping to bring smaller fish into it. The folding aspect and handle collapsing inside itself is very convenient for travel and space saving. Came with a neoprene sleeve to store handle in if you choose to twist it off hoop. It also reaches far, but that adds to the weak spot at the hoop. It’s going in the kayak for now. It won’t ever be on my boat though. It’s all fun and games until someone looses a walleye.

There are plenty of times when I walk a mile or more to my fishing spot, and my old net was heavy and clunky. I wanted something light—what’s lighter and stronger than carbon fiber? This net is well built, and the sections lock securely when you extend the handle. It’s great how it stretches to almost six feet. The netting is more rubber than string, which is different but works well. Considering it’s carbon fiber, the price is really reasonable. Overall, it’s a great addition to my fishing kit, and I barely even notice the extra weight on my backpack.

This telescoping carbon fiber fish landing net stores pretty small for not having a folding loop. It telescopes pretty small and then the loop folds over the collapsed handle to minimize the amount of space required to store it. The overall weight is also pretty light which it also nice. It is rated at up to 20lbs, but I don't know that I would try to land a 20lb fish with the handle fully extended. Plus a 20lb fish would probably be a bit big for the net anyways. But for general purpose fishing this should be fine The silicone netting will be better on fish that you plan on releasing which is nice.
