Perfect Entry-Level Drone with an Impressive Camera! (Great for Beginners) Perfect Entry-Level Drone with an Impressive Camera! (Great for Beginners)
Review Image by Verified Buyer
Review: If you are looking for your very first drone, I believe this is an excellent choice in terms of both size and price. After spending some time with it, I can confidently say it’s a solid investment for anyone just starting their aerial journey. The Highlights: Surprisingly High-Quality Camera: One of the most standout features for me was the camera. To be honest, it performed much better than I anticipated for a drone in this price bracket. The clarity and the overall footage quality are truly impressive and definitely a "wow" factor. Beginner-Friendly Learning Curve: As a complete novice, I found the flight controls to be a bit challenging at first. However, don't let that discourage you! It didn't take long at all to get the hang of the directional controls. Within a few sessions, I felt much more confident navigating the skies. Value for Money: The physical dimensions and the price point make this drone feel accessible and less intimidating for a first-timer. A Crucial Tip (Wind Resistance): The only real downside I encountered is related to its lightweight build and propeller size. Because the propellers are relatively small, the drone is quite sensitive to the wind. If there is even a moderate breeze, it can become quite difficult to maintain precise control or keep it on your intended path. I highly recommend flying this on calm, still days or in open areas without much wind to ensure the best experience. Final Verdict: Overall, this is the ideal drone for those dipping their toes into the hobby for the first time. The combination of its user-friendly nature and the fantastic camera functionality makes it a joy to use. Despite its vulnerability to wind, I am thoroughly satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to any beginner! ... show more

Great Beginner Drone with No Hassle
Given the FAA regulations on drones, as a beginner I didn’t want to deal with extra steps or complicated requirements, so I specifically looked for a lightweight drone under 250g—and this one turned out to be a great choice. It’s very easy to set up and control, and the responsiveness is solid. It’s also lightweight, foldable, and easy to carry around, making it perfect for beginners who just want to enjoy flying outdoors. I’d definitely recommend picking up a few extra batteries, as it really helps extend your flight time. The only thing to keep in mind is to avoid flying in windy conditions. I also had a lot of fun trying out the flip tricks and gesture selfie features. Overall, a value option for beginners or anyone looking for a hassle-free drone. ... show more

Entry-level drone for a 4-year-old (birthday gift)
First impression:** Disappointed. The drone looked used and returned. Camera had a large scratch; drone showed wear overall. Plastic wrap protector was dirty with small rocks. Value & purchase experience:** Chose for a reasonable price and quick start, but unsure about quality control. Didn’t want to return immediately because of birthday excitement. Performance:** Used it twice with full charges. Battery life: about 10 minutes per battery, requiring a wait to recharge. Overall, battery duration is the main letdown. User experience:** Very easy to use and navigate; my son picked it up quickly and was a natural. The excitement and ease are strong positives. Bottom line:** Great for beginners in terms of usability, but the battery life is short and the initial condition (dusty/used-looking packaging and cosmetic flaws) was disappointing. If longer flight time and better quality control were available, I’d rate it higher. Would consider a different model or seller with better packaging unless the battery life improves. ... show more

Easy to use
I’m really impressed with this drone. It’s very easy to set up and the controls are smooth, even for someone who is not very experienced with flying drones. The camera quality is excellent and captures clear, stable footage. The battery life is also better than I expected, giving enough time to enjoy flying and recording videos. Another thing I like is how stable it stays in the air, even when there is a little wind. The app is simple to use and makes it easy to transfer photos and videos. Overall, this drone offers great value for the price and is perfect for beginners or anyone who wants a reliable and fun drone to fly. ... show more

Lots of fun-easy to use-short battery life
A lot of fun. Picture quality is great. Controls very easy. Only small issue is flight time/battery life is short - 30 minutes. But comes with backup battery

Great little drone, but don't forget the AA batteries! Great little drone, but don't forget the AA batteries!

I really like this little drone. It is incredibly light, honestly, it weighs less than half an egg. It comes with two batteries in the box, which is awesome because you can just swap them out and keep flying without much downtime. During flying it is pretty steady, but because it is so light it can be somehow sensitive to the breeze. So, if you are a beginner definitely avoid flying it on windy days. One quick heads-up, the controller needs three AA batteries that aren't included, so make sure to grab some so you are ready to fly! Great little drone, but don't forget the AA batteries! ... show more
