My wife and I got e bikes and started riding them. The thought was its something else we can do together. We rode a few time and found we can't ride side by side much if at all so we end up not being able to talk. I got this intercom set and installed it on our helmets. Sticking the main device on the side of the bike helmet was pretty much the same as a motorcycle helmet. The speakers and boom mike had to be stuck on differently. I use the velcro speaker mounts and cut them in half and placed them at the top of the ear arch. They hang out a bit but end up being right above the ear and work great for hearing each other. The boom mike had to be mounted on the side of the helmet which makes the orientation off but I was able to twist the boom slightly and get it close to the correct side towards our mouths. In operation they worked very well. We were able to communicate even when almost out of sight on a straight away. The noise reduction worked well. Bicycles just don't go as fast as a motorcycle so there is never going to be as much wind noise. I highly recommend these if you want to be able to talk while riding bikes. ... show more

They are a bit fussy to learn how to operate. Pres a button for 3 seconds, press another 2 buttons together for another 3 seconds, press a different button to make sure that they connect and if they don't, then press the button again until they do connect. The sound quality reminds of that of a cb radio more so than the head phone sound that I expected. I am giving 4 stars because it works and my current helmet is a bit oversized which will affect sound quality. ... show more

Our headset arrived very quickly after placing order & was in perfect condition . Headsets were easy to set up & work great . We just needed them to communicate with eachother while riding the trike . We can hear eachother perfectly without background noise interference. Actually the range is farther distance then what we needed them for . We tested them out in the yard before going for a ride . There was a little learning curve to setting them up but we finally figured it out. They are not designed for bicycle helmets but we made them work, the ear pads did not have a great place to install for bike helmets. They need to be placed right by your ears for the best hearing. After all that they work great and we love being able to talk. The range is pretty good but best with line of sight. The wind did not seem to be a problem either unless you were going super fast and get to far away. ... show more

This was easy to use and works great!! Does everything I want, lets me intercom my riding partner, and I can answer phone calls, they say they can't even tell I am on my motorcycle. I also get to listen it my favorite music while I ride. My riding partner can listen to their music. Bought the two pack for me and the wife to communicate while riding 2 up. installation was easy enough. Battery life is great. We only use them for comms and they work ok. Hard to understand each other at 70-80 mph. Turning the volume up or talking louder just causes distortion. For simple short sentences to communicate it works ok. ... show more
