I purchased these curtains to replace ones that were not decreasing the heat or light from the summer sunshine. These curtains are nice and heavy, and definitely provide excellent blackout quality to the room. I do feel they have helped to keep the room cooler as well. They feel very nice when i open and close them and they slide easily on the rod. Very impressed with the thickness and quality of these curtains and they are a pretty pattern too! Purchased these for my master bedroom and they did not disappoint. Curtains are silky soft with a soft green color. The blackout lining is thick and insulates light and noise. Simple and easy to install. Great value! We love them so much we are going to purchase again for another bedroom.

The pattern (blossom) and color (blue-ish gray) are very pleasing. The material is soft to the touch and drapes / hangs beautifully. The blackout feature provides 100% blackout. However, the edges of my curtains faded (to lavender) from sun exposure. Since my room is southern exposure, I should have searched the listing to determine if they were 'fade resistant'. The product is *NOT* fade resistant. If you purchase, maybe try hanging the panels so the edge of each panel - the printed side of the curtain -faces the room and not the window. I had been looking for true black out curtains that had an actual pattern on them and weren't plain or see-through. These are some of the prettiest curtains I have seen and work perfectly in my bedroom. My neighbors have a bright light that shines directly at my window and these curtains completely block the light, as one side is black.
