When I bought this set of 2 for some extra seating for guests, my fiance thought I was crazy. I asked him to give them a try because we needed the seating, and we were both pleasantly surprised and impressed by them! The stools are well made, they are quite comfortable and plush seating, and they were even more comfortable than our dining chairs. All our guests said that they preferred the stools to the chairs that we have.
