Absolutely beautiful — the white side of the stick is a bit thicker and the champagne side is skinnier and both formulas are gorgeous, the perfect gleaming sparkle that you can either build up or blend out (and they blend really nicely). These stick are so convenient and quick and easy to throw on and the glitter lasts all day with minimal fallout. They’re meant for use around the eyes but I’ve also used them (sheered out) on my cheeks, Cupid’s Bow, and the tip of my nose. And of course no review of Flower Knows would be complete without a mention of how beautiful the packaging and components are — and this is no exception. I love how much thought and care they put into every aspect of the design, marketing, aesthetics, and of course performance and beauty of every collection and every product they put out. And their prices are on the higher end (including this glitter stick) but I feel like this is definitely worth the price. Especially since you’re getting two different glitters together (also for that reason this would be a great option to bring when traveling if you don’t have much space in your luggage to bring makeup). ... show more

I was so excited to try the Flower Knows Shell's Jewel Highlighter Stick—the packaging is absolutely stunning, and the concept of a dual-ended highlighter seemed so convenient. Unfortunately, the performance didn’t live up to the aesthetics. The color payoff is extremely faint. Whether I used the cream or powder side, the glow was barely noticeable on my light-medium skin tone. I had to layer multiple swipes just to get a subtle sheen, and even then, it lacked the vibrant, luminous effect I expected from a highlighter. For the price, I was hoping for something more impactful—like a "glass skin" glow or a metallic shine—but this just fell flat. ... show more

This is great! It also arrived super fast in less than the two-day time estimated! The color is a very pretty shade of pink that works well with all skin tones. The glitter innit is very fine and not chunky, so more like a concentrated shimmer. I have super sensitive eyes and I was worried this would cause irritation, but I’ve used it three times now and have not had any issues, which is amazing! The shimmer particles don’t navigate into my eyes and this lasts on me all day until I remove it at night. I like this best applied over an eyeshadow to add some shimmer. I haven’t tried using it plain yet, but I think if I do, I would use it over a primer to keep it from creasing on my lids. The packaging for this is absolutely lovely with a starfish on one end and a shell on the other. It’s so pretty to look at and makes me feel like a mermaid princess when I use it, haha. This type of packaging should be refillable since it’ll be a shame to throw it away when it runs out. I removed a star for that and because I think that this will run out more quickly than I want it to. Overall, this is a great tool to brighten eyes, add shimmer, bring dimension over shadows, and to make anyone’s wishes of feeling like a star in their own mermaid story. I recommend it! Note that this is made in China and a Chinese brand. Previously, I thought it was Korean. I do question the animal testing practices for this. But since I can’t confirm that, I did not remove a star from this product. However, if it’s tested on animals, then I’d lower my rating to 2 stars only. ... show more

This Flower Knows Shell’s Jewel 2-in-1 Dual-Ended Highlighter Stick is absolutely stunning! I ordered the color “01 Vanilla White” in the size 0.04 ounce & took photos to show next to a tape measure to try to provide an idea of the amount of eyeshadow on each end with them fully expanded out. Both ends of the stick are retractable & it’s easy to use. It’s a very durable stick & they quality is great! It has excellent longevity of wear & it doesn’t smudge & is hard to wipe off with a damp paper towel. It removes better with eye makeup remover., so basically., it’s not going anywhere until you physically remove it. It glides on very smoothly, it’s solid in consistency but spreads like creamy whipped butter.its one of the best eyeshadow sticks I’ve tried so far. The product description is accurate & it is as described. At the time of this review, it’s originally priced at $16 & has a 15% off coupon offer & it’s my opinion that the original price is reasonable & the current sale price using the 15% off coupon offer is a really good buy when compared to other comparablesvof the same quality. Before you even open this to get a look at the highlighter you're automatically invested when you see the container it is in. It is absolutely stunning. I love the way it was utilized to use both ends of the stick. You have one skinnier side and one fatter side. Once you open it the color automatically pops out at you. I went with the vanilla white and the sparkles pop out at you. This isn't just a highlighter I am going to be utilizing this in every way I possibly can. You will want to buy the entire set! I'm obsessed with beautifully designed makeup and mermaid/ocean aesthetics, respectively, so I was SO excited to try this highlighter. And it doesn't disappoint! It looks just like the product photos and is really high quality and well made. Both the packaging and the tube are so whimsical and enchanting, and they're so stunningly intricate. And the highlighters are super precise and offer a gorgeous subtle sparkle. The shell side has a thicker shape for wider coverage, while the star is narrower for smaller details.
