Update: I noticed that the plug gets extremely hot when in use, so keep that in mind when purchasing. This lamp is very easy to assemble and works great. I originally saw one at Ikea that was priced at $100, which was way too expensive for me, so I found this on Amazon and purchased two. Had these for a month so far and had no problems whatsoever. This is a great alternative to the old-style 500w halogen uplights. The light is great, I really appreciate being able to change the color temperature, and it looks very nicely made. Two things I would change: 1) the minimum (least bright) setting is still quite bright, would be nice if it could be dimmed more. 2) the remote control only has one button for setting the brightness, meaning you have to make it fully bright before dimming again. An extra button would help here. On the lamp itself, it’s even more complicated, controlling eight functions with only three buttons 🙄 ... show more

Love the lamp but it is missing 3000k. Only 4 color choices. The first two are daylight, the last two seem to be 2800k and 3200k. I know this because my entire home has 3000k bulbs from different manufacturers and they all match. The two warm settings are just above and below 3000k.
