Seems well built for the most part but the hole where a drill is supposed to go is very small. Many drills that have a second hand holding point work but be cautious. Luckily customer service is good and they are willing to help and work with you.

When ordering no mention was made that a specialized size and type of drill needed. When attempting to install i had no drill to use. the base slots for anchoring the clamp anvil accessory are not clear of burrs and casting over fills that prevent insertion of 4 bolts from beneath the bed of the drill press. Warranty passed i am sure so i will have to purchase several other tools, grind, file and make my own adjustments. Not happy at all. ... show more

Unless you have a drill that has a round area behind the chuck that fits the dimensions listed,this machine will not work for you. I have five drills and only one would work

    • Unable to hold drill steady
Metal brace that holds drill is deeper than area on the drill. As soon as the drill is turned on, friction destroys the rubber adjustment of the drill. Both of my drills would not work once the screw was tightened.

    • This does not fit even the smallest drill I have
The area provided to hold the drill is extremely small for drills. This is more suitable for Dremel or other small rotary tools. The spring in the lever stopped working after the first couple pulls. When purchased with the clamp it doesn't come with the bolts needed. Save your money and purchase an actual drill press.... ... show more
