Our unique 3-Point design prevents water overflow and potential foundation damage by acting as dams, slowing water flow over the cover allowing full drainage into your gutters, even when covered by wet leaves and debris. In addition to keeping debris out of the gutter it added significantly to the structural integrity of the gutter system. I was able to reshape the gutter to its original alignment and should help it hold its shape during snow events on my metal roof where snow would slide into the gutter all at once. I like the black color to allow for solar metaling during the winter and even on a white gutter it looks good as its not visible from the ground and looking down on our barn from our deck it makes the white gutter look clean and finished and hangers no longer visible. ... show more

I purchased two of the 102" boxes, to install over my recently installed 6" gutters. Pros: 1. Easy to install. 2. Good design. Unlike some of the other gutter guards, these have a lip on the back of the guard which allows you to screw the back of the guard to the fascia. This was really helpful since I had various depths between the front lip and the back of the gutter, due to certain variances in how the drip edge was installed. So, being able to secure them in the back ensured they would not move out of place. 3. Screws are included and are of good quality. Be aware that other companies don't include screws with their guards. Given the number of screws needed to do the job, this is not an inconsequential amount. 4. Guage of Gutter Guard. Thick enough to be durable. But not so thick that I couldn't bend/manipulate it when necessary. 5. Good customer service. I called before ordering and the staff was helpful and responsive. Cons: 1. This is really the only con and why I reduced my rating to 4 stars (especially since some other reviewers encountered the same issue). In one of the two boxes I ordered, about half of the guards were bent on the front lip anywhere from 6" to 2" from the one corner. By the way they were bent, I don't think this happened during the shipping process. Instead of calling the company, I went ahead and straightened them out myself. These gutter guards are one of the best products I’ve ever received from Amazon. Very easy to install with the suggested 1/4 inch magnetic bit. Excellent quality and ease of installation, they fit perfectly and the screws provided went in easily. Looks great and solidly built. Easy to cut and trim with tin snips for corner fitting. I've seen ads for similar stuff for years. Way too expensive and I thought that the holes would become clogged with debris. I bought 100 feet a year ago and covered my lower roof gutter. I had tried all of the different plastic types from HD. None of them stay in place permanently, if one piece comes off leaves get under the rest of it which means you have to spend an afternoon cleaning the gutters so why bother covering any of it. $1.00 a foot is more than reasonable to never have to screw around with my gutters again. This doesn't clog and it stays in place. I am back to order more to do the upper roof. I don't know how long it's been around at this price, I only know I wish that I had found it 20 years ago. I can't begin to say out of all of the home help/life hack/junk out there how much I like knowing that for a couple hundred dollars and an afternoon my gutters aren't goin to overflow and my basement is going to stay dry the best. ... show more

I did it...not an easy project for a 58 y.o. lady, but it's done. The struggles I had were two-fold. First I realized quickly after starting that I didn't have the correct nut driver. I started reading and realized that in order to have any chance of installing these correctly, I needed to invest the $13 in a 6" long 1/4" magnetic nut driver. There are less expensive ones but the reviews paled in comparison to the Malco one. So, 2 days later, Amazon brought it to my door and I tried the project again. My second struggle was just upper body strength to pierce the galvanized metal flashing behind my gutter. The screws they provide with this product work great on the front lip, but if I had to do it again, I might buy ones with a sharper bit for connecting the guards on the back or use two drills and predrill the back screw holes. The other thing is this company needs to improve their packaging. The ends of these were bent because of being tossed around during shipping. Fortunately, these are bendable and I was able to move them back into place. But the addition of a cardboard piece on the ends would be smart of the manufacturer. I don't know how these compare to the other brand that looks similar, but I would compare the thickness of these to an aluminum soda can. See photos for more details. ... show more

Very good system with a couple of issues. The biggest advantage to these is that they do help hold up the gutters if you use a longer screw to attach to the fascia board. My biggest problem was installing these on steel gutters. If you install these on aluminum gutters then most will not apply. The included screws are not very self-tapping. When pressing down on the gutter lip they work a little better because you have more leverage. I used longer self-tapping screws (metal to wood) for the back to help hold the gutter up. With my steel gutters I still had to pre-drill. They are not really designed to bear a lot of weight and have some stretch areas built in. I had a couple of screws pull through the aluminum but just added a few more for security. Another issue is that if you use a gutter brace that is higher than the top of the gutter then you have to trim these to fit around it. Trimming is not hard to do but as with any gutter work it depends on you access to the work area. I had to hang out a little bit to get to the ends. I actually made my cuts so that it was not a tiny piece I was attaching at the ends. Overall they work well at keeping out leaves and the unadvertised ability to help hold up the gutters. ... show more
