Purchased for my toddlers who are in the process of potty training as a potty reward. They love Calico Critters and the idea that the critters can use the bathroom too was just super exciting to my girls. So far this set has held up fantastic! It comes with a lot of small parts as well as some stickers to apply to the toilet cleaner bottle that’s yellow and the toilet paper rolls(I’d recommend watching little ones with these sets and possibly put away pieces when not in use so they don’t get lost). Out of all these little pieces(it didn’t register with me right away) the solid blue piece that comes lose with the other small parts in packaging is the plug for the bathtub(I included a picture inside the tub with the plug in place). The cabinet underneath the sink actually opens up and provides a little extra storage and is actually detailed enough to include a little pipe for the sink! The toilet paper holder has a little sticky pad on back so you may place it on the side of the sink or wall depending upon space/preference. I don't know what 'softness' in the ratings is supposed to mean really but one thing they do miss, considering it's a bathroom its a surprise- towels! And a bath mat! Otherwise this set is great, so many details and pieces! Toothbrush, soap, bath toys etc Cons- I think Calico critters needs to have instructions on paper- in this set instructions for making the toilet paper and paper towels are printed on the inside of the box and easily missed. And the shower design could be better. The whole thing won't stand independently when you put the shower head in the holder, the tube and everything kinda sets it off balance, if that makes sense. ... show more

This is a really cute set to compliment our collection, but there are too many tiny pieces (smaller than usual!) and I see them getting lost in the carpet soon! But the kids are really enjoying it. The pieces are sturdy and well-made.
